This series is such a pleasant surprise. I don't mind the angst, since there's only 6 episodes so it might be boring otherwise. Really strong acting by the entire cast.

I thought there was going to be, but they're so slow at getting there that I'm losing interest.

Pavel is the only reason I'm still watching, he's acting circles around everyone else. Other than that, the show is slow and kinda boring.

I'm glad it wasn't longer than this tbh, although Eri is a beautiful soul, at the end he was inserting himself everywhere and it was getting a little irritating (I know unrequited love sucks, but leave other potential couples alone lol). Even Bobo told him to give him space 😜. And Gino was sounding like a broken record. Dude, you're not some wise mage to know what Guan Yu wants better than Guan Yu himself. I'm happy he didn't sabotage his own chances at love :)

I'm on episode 10 and can I just say that Fiat is killing his role. He's so underrated 🙁

Cutie Pie was way better than Naughty Babe if I'm comparing the two. I actually dropped Naughty Babe.

I'm not comparing the two shows, just putting them on hold because they both have such disappointing starts (but I agree, Middleman's Love is way worse). Interestingly, what they do have in common is I'm not a fan of the other works from either production company, like Cutie Pie and Naughty Babe/ Stay By My Side and You Are Mine - so I may not even watch them.

Meh. Another BL (along with Middleman's Love) that I'm putting on hold until it's done - not really feeling it. So many clichés and awkward moments.

Soundtrack is giving "Unforgotten Night". I like Pooh too, he looks like a mix of Chimon and Build.

Boy's Romance has a really good group dynamic. It's too bad there are no subtitles 😞

This is why I prefer His Man 2. In this show, there have been few dates, one group activity (in the pool) and no fun, casual games to lighten the mood. They don't even spend time cooking together, since their meals are all prepared. I'm losing interest in the show tbh.

December 29th??? Let's hope by then they'll have English subtitles for unfortunate people like me who don't understand or read Mandarin (I wish I did, but I'm learning Japanese right now).

If you watched Bed Friend you'll know that Jade's personality has been completely changed (as well as the dynamic between Uea and King) so I think that's why many people are disappointed - me included. If this was a standalone series, it might be ok but still cringey

I actually liked Bed Friend as well, and that's why this series is disappointing. The change in Jade's personality is jarring; I couldn't even make it through the first episode. And as others pointed out, in this one he likes being called the middleman, completely opposite to Bed Friends. WTH?
