It wasn’t the worst intimate scene I’ve ever seen, but it definitely wasn’t good either. Most viewers weren’t complaining about the leads not having an NC scene until now; the criticism was that the show never properly conveyed the romantic chemistry between them. You spend 8 episodes giving us absolutely no sense that these two genuinely love each other or are sexually attracted to each other, and then suddenly throw in an intimate scene in episode 9 and expect that to make everyone happy. 😂
And even in the scene itself, I just didn’t feel any real passion or that they were genuinely desperate for each other. You could see how nervous both actors were, and they conveyed that nervousness way too much, which honestly made the scene even more uncomfortable to watch.
The relationships between the other couples in the drama are weird as hell too. At this point, this might genuinely be one of the worst written, worst directed, and worst acted dramas I’ve watched in a long time.

Please, why are you acting as if Leng has been with that company for years and has only been given one series during all that time? Leng has only been under GMM for 2-3 years, and GMM gave him a leading role despite him having no prior acting experience. There are many actors who have worked at that company for years and still haven’t gotten anything beyond supporting roles. People dedicate years of their lives to this industry, and they often have to work in the industry for a long time before they finally get their own series. Leng is more fortunate than many people in this industry, and I genuinely cannot believe you fail to see that.

I completely agree with your criticisms of the series, and seriously, watching Leng’s acting is painful. He’s constantly grinning during softer scenes, and whenever he’s supposed to show stronger emotions, he just clenches his mouth and makes it tremble, that’s it 😭 Despite having been in the industry for only two years and delivering below-average acting performances, he already has three series in which he plays the lead role. Unless an actor is exceptionally talented, they usually start out with supporting roles, gain experience, and eventually get a lead role, or they share the lead with actors who are around their level in terms of acting. But GMM gave Leng a lead role right away despite him having no previous acting experience whatsoever, pairing him with someone who is experienced and popular in the BL industry. I know actors who have been with this company for years and still haven’t gotten anything beyond supporting roles. And despite all of this, I keep seeing so many people saying that Leng is being treated unfairly and deserves better. Come on, how many more opportunities does he need to be given? He’s already been given plenty of opportunities; at this point, it’s entirely up to him to put more effort into his acting training and prove himself.

Then the director just didn’t do a good job. And it’s not just this scene; there are problems throughout the whole series anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also saw Thai people heavily criticizing the poetry-reading scenes in the series and questioning how the director could have the audacity to air those scenes. So, just because the director approved it doesn’t mean the scene was actually good.

I honestly don’t care who August wants to be with. I’m not watching the show through a shipper’s lens. I’m just a regular viewer, that’s all.

as far as i know, they’re not a fixed pairing rn. maybe there are some spicier scenes in the last 2 eps, but i genuinely haven’t felt any chemistry between them in 8 episodes. and regardless of the NC scene, these two haven’t even managed to make me believe they actually have feelings for each other. so even if they spend the last 2 eps kissing like they’ve been starved of water for years, it still won’t mean anything to me 😭

I don’t understand why Leng keeps getting paired with experienced actors. Just like in Kidnap, the difference in experience between him and his partner is very noticeable here as well. In the dagger scene, while August was giving it his all, Leng just stared at him with empty eyes, which made the scene fail to deliver the emotional impact it was supposed to have. Whether it’s a romantic, angry, or sad scene, I just don’t see enough emotion in Leng’s eyes. I think instead of taking on lead roles right away, Lengso should have first been paired with actors closer to his own level of experience and gained more experience through supporting roles.
