Title The Gifted Spoiler
Also if Pang was all about equality and he didn’t like his “potential,” then why did he seem happy at the…
This wasn't clearly explained but I don't think he dislikes his potential. He just feels like he is the hero and should do the right thing which is make everyone equal. But, in the end he realize he shouldn't think that he is above everyone else just because his superpower seems more powerful. The people who have potential doesn't want to lose their potential but Pang just wanted to forcefully take away their power without consensus from any of them which is very arrogant and ignorant imo. I think in the end he realize that if he wanted to make changes he can't do it alone, he need helps from his friends. They can make the school more equal even without robbing off everyone's superpower. I think if I am studying in a school with inequality between smart and dumb student, the solution will never be to make every smart student as dumb. There is much better way than that to solve the issue. Hence I also assume Pang also realize his way of doing thing is too extreme. Btw all are my assumptions feel free to disagree,

Title The Gifted Spoiler
First off this was a really good series., the first episode got me hooked. One question is what’s Mon’s “potential?”…
I think both her body fluid making people lose their mind and superpower physical skill is her potential. The former is more like a side effect. I think the gifted wasn't affected because they didn't breathe in too much of her sweat. The girl who got disqualified because of her uses her towel which i suppose is drenched with her sweat. The people in the hall is affected because the towel was placed on the ventilation while they are doing some meditation which require them to breath in hard. The guy at the end is because he swept her tear and sneeze with his hand and towel. On the other hand, after the headmaster command her to live normal, we can see that she lose to the girl that got disqualified when sparring in a scene thus confirming physical skill is also one of her potential.

yes
No, it is not a common idiom. It can be seen as a meme. The villain killed his parents by inviting them up the mountain. So, if someone says that then it is jokingly saying he wants to kill you.
