From what I know he has a history of a bone tumour for a few years now, as well as having ruptured his shoulder muscle in the past. I believe it's also been stated that he suffers from depression. He's been using the drugs for pain management, but way more and way stronger than allowed.

Sorry? It's 100% a crime no matter how you look at it. While his reasoning is understandable, it's still illegal. I've always agreed that Korea maybe treats drug users a bit too harshly in some cases, however these are some heavy drugs that he's using and he needs help as well as to take responsibility for his actions.
