This is peak Korean Webtoon absurdity and I'm here for it, I got the humour instantly having read Webtoons like that but it may not be for everyone. The series really hooked me from moments that happened in EP4/5 where new variables are introduced, so if you can stick till there then I'd say give it a go! (It's only 30m an episode anyway)
Guys, should we vote for who we think is the remaining mafia? 1. Jungwon2. Eun Chan3. Mi Na4. Yeonwoo5. Junhee
Jungwon is definitely tied to this somewhere, because I feel like the directors are purposely not showing too much of her to create some sort of twist in the future and there was that quick shot of her programming some sort of horror narrative game. The directors haven't really cleared Jungwon as innocent like they have for some other contendors.
I also remember when they tried to kill Yoonseo but it said that mafias have to agree. I feel like in this case, Junhee could be a cool twist as a mafia since he obviously doesn't want Yoonseo to die. Or this also could've been Jungwon.
I feel like it can't be Mina since she tried saying Dabeom was suspicious to Somi. If she was mafia I don't think she would've tried saying a fellow mafia is suspicious to another fellow mafia.
Yeonwoo hasn't really gotten a lot of screentime, but if he was the guy who said Somi/Mina were suspicious for having the keys then I don't think he could be the mafia as that would seem like a dumb move for a mafia who is meant to be a team player.
I feel like we also haven't gotten a lot of Eunchan. I would be dissapointed if any of the low screentime characters were the mafia, as that would feel out of nowhere.
I still feel like Yoonseo definitely has something to do with this. Just as she's the main character and she seems to be weirdly special to this game as she's the only one who sees the ghost, enters semingly alternative dimensions (red room after she went through the tunnel in freezer) and the ghost (Seeun) is giving her keys and stuff. I could definitely see them going a route where there's like something possession-related, maybe she is the ghost and her memories have been altered due to trauma or something along those lines.
They could defintely go a 'this was all just a dream' route with Jungwon's game or something, like this was just all her classmates playing the game and the series is just a dramatisation of it all.
Someone else pointed out that's he probably on medication of some kind that will regulate his emotions and in turn makes him a lot less empathic / seem cold. I think this makes sense as the drama shows two drastic sides of him as a more calm, relaxed person vs when he was in court in the past he was a lot more shouty on behalf of his client.
Basically, it showed all the participents doing their entries in pairs (K+G pairs) then they sat down. The MC announced that they were gonna announce 13th place (earlier specificed that they will be saving 1-12th and 52nd for last). They said 13th was in Danger group, so both K and G group got up ready for announcement. It was Lee Daeul and they stopped the stream. This took 50m just to announce one trainee.
