Yes! I really like that he told her he was gay, and everyone knows what their marriage is about, so refreshing.
I also like that the brother quickly dropped the badmouthing (her being a prostitute) as soon as he found out her identity. I didn't think he was gonna take it 'as well', I was expecting the usual nonsense temper tantrums, and name callings, The break up scene was really realistic. Can't wait to see where this love triangle takes us.

So, I just watched the first two episodes and I must say I'm amazed at the quality of the writing so far. Usually thai lakorn are slow to pick up steams, not this one, the first two episodes are well paced.
The other thing I'm amazed with is the characterization. Nobody is two-dimensional at all. We've been introduced to few characters yet, but they are really well rounded. I'm more intrigued by the ML's mother; I was expecting the typical rich snob mom, instead I got a very reasonable, strong woman who is proud to say that the FL's debt ridden poor mom reminds her of herself before she hit the jackpot (I guess marrying the ML's dad).

Other good surprise, the fiancé. It's not a spoiler to say he's gay, it's announced in the first 10 minutes of the show. Usually when you have a closeted gay character in lakorns, he's also duplicitous and morally corrupted. Well, this one is an all around great guy. I really hope he gets to find his happiness by the end of the drama, though I'm not holding my breath, I've been burned too many times.

I also applaud the acting skills of the two leads. Wow, those last two scenes of episode 2, great!

It's probably more than 10 episodes though. I've noticed for a few years now, thai dramas are often annonced on MDL for 10 eps, but then can go on up to 25 episodes. Recent examples: Nabi, Jao Sao Jum Loey.

LOL I actually rolled my eyes when I saw his pic. There's an entire era of Louis Scott with long hair, but I much prefer him with short hair. To each their own I guess haha.

I just watched the first 2 LOL. It seems great, but the story is pretty hard to follow without subs unfortunately 😕

After 1st episode raw, I think this a good story, the FL is not gonna be annoying, she was raised in a misogynist society and has learned to submit, but she also has a strong backbone. Im here for her journey.

It was a cute office romcom with a twist. I don't know about BDSM but i feel like the subculture was done much more justice in this movie than in 50 shades. To me the best thing were the actors and the nice chemistry. My eye is on Seo Hyun for the rest of her next drama.

True, the plot is a bit messy. I think we didn't need either Thip and Petch in this drama. And I feel like they're only gonna find out about May's identity towards the end, but I wish this would actually happen soon. I don't understand why thai stories always use the same overused tropes and clichés: the crazy criminal transgender, the rich useless spoiled son, the weak or deadbeat dad, the leeching relatives who are actually not blood related... I was hoping this show would subvert at least a few of these tropes, but nope!

I also think he's in love (as seen when he was drunk and crying). But if this show follows the same formula as usual, he's going to cling to his pride and break her heart for revenge.
I think he was willing to forget his plan, but because she protected her aunt with the forged signature, he now feels she's really bad and yaddi yadda. Anyway, this guy had been hurt before (by his dad) and wants to make her pay for his feelings of inadequacy.

haha I hadn't noted the rating. I think we see more explicit scenes in US and Euro daytime TV, but okay ^^

I agree that he's not as violent but is he really better? At least other guys tend to accuse her and then mellow down through the show. This guy is simmering inside and having s3x with her while getting ready to betray her..

The show takes all the clichés we know and love, then use them in a very fresh way. It's not all subversion, more like injecting new with the old. It's like the old romantic clichés get to enter the 21st century guys!

episode 10: Sichon, oh Sichon! Please, don't let anger and low self esteem destroy what you have. Why not just talk to her, accuse her and let her explain herself. Have you not heard that every story has at least two sides?
Oh and the love scene(s) were fantabulastic! Especially for a thai drama, especially for channel 7! I couldn't believe my eyes. Good for you guys ^^

You're right to be prudent with thai shows. Sometimes they take a looong time to be fully translated. That being said, I'd advise not to binge watch thai drama because they are really repetitive. I'm watching this drama as it goes on, and yet, I'm bored already with the circular plot.
