in the novel the step-dad never gets dealt and u just never hear about Uea's family after the argument, so I love they are actually delving into the step-dad and handing him consequences unlike the novel

Im sorry but what is wrong about watching something just to enjoy the aesthetics? The world already shits on teenage girls and their interests as if they mean nothing. As if teenage boys have some vastly varied and high art interests (see anime fan service OVAs). And yes you are generalizing, acknowledging you are does not prevent you from the criticism that you are lumping everyone together and looking down on their interests. For one I know many ppl who are into BL and care a lot about the storylines and direction and appreciating some pretty boys to go with it doesnt hurt.

Unfortunately, another sad edition to the pile of Korean BLs out there. The plot and world building had no substance, and the acting could not save a toenail. I admire the ambition of Korean BLs but the execution falls so short. What did you think of this drama?
