After 24 hours pondering how this show was a magnificent joy ride for ten episodes, but went into hyper-rush mode…
I'm personally happy with how their relationship progressed honestly, it felt like the beginning of something wonderful to come. I also don't mind the film production being completed in order to ensure Dong Man could stand on level terms with his friend at the end.
My major concern was mainly the scenes with No Gang Sik (like the arguing/fighting scenes at the other film set), I would have preferred they were dropped and and replaced with Jin Mans quest to reunite with his daughter, which I feel could have had a more hard-hitting conclusion. I feel my appetite wasn't truly satisfied here.
I was expecting the Ma Jae Yeong character to be redeemed in some way, but he remained a loser to the end. For some reason, I think this character was quite personal to the writer. Possibly based on a scumbag they've know in their career who steals credit, and decided against them being redeemable, which is amusing.
People who don’t like this drama either dropped it midway because it’s a slow burn, or they simply can’t…
I don't even consider this a 'slow burn'. Those dramas that give you 100 angles of the same scene so they move forwards at a snail pace feel slow burn to me, because they drag on for so long. This drama feels incredibly well paced with things constantly happening!
"It's true that the series itself received a great deal of love, but if we were to bring it back, we would need to be prepared to address the changes [in society] that have taken place in the meantime, as well as the new issues that have emerged," adding, "Season 2 is not yet at a stage where we can talk about it."
What does he mean by this? Changes in society? New issues? It's a legal/comedy drama, do they think they're making a season 2 of Sandglass lol?
The entire class deserve to get bullied for being bystanders they just follow and cant even stand together for…
Pyramid game is wild as a story, it feels like it's trying to humanise bullies at times, rather than just present them as worthless pieces of garbage that they are. It was like that all the way to the end. Although I would say it's realistic in presenting the presence of bystanders to bullying. Nobody wants to be the target of the bullying so they will tolerate it as long as it happens to someone else. Seen that with my own eyes.
Somebody please explain to me.Why are some users so disturbed by the ratings of the drama? Why does it matter?…
Pretty much everyone who has typed out a variation of this message for decades during airing cinema/tv/drama/animation thinks they're the first and so smart lmao. Maybe do some research in the decades of responses given to this belief across multiple mediums. I guess things never change. This one was cracked about a hundred years ago through market research but we still have people unironically typing this out in 2026.
I love this drama so far, but I'm confused about one thing. Aren’t directors supposed to direct the film, not…
Seems like this group are mainly writer-directors. Quentin Tarantino writes and directs a lot of his screenplays as an example. A lot of directors make their debut doing this and then often rely on stories written by purely screenwriters for other projects. It’s not unusual.
This drama is shaping up to be a favourite so far - honestly the only risk I see at the moment is the mother plotline unraveling into needless melodrama. Otherwise it’s just amazing. I really hope it keeps it together.
For me this is one of the best Japanese films of the 21st century so far. It's genuinely timeless and feels like it could have been made during the Golden Age. The rating here honestly disappoints me, but it unfortunately it doesn't shock me.
this is a serious speculation spoiler, dont read if you hate these.I would like Eun Ah to somehow blackmail her…
Although I like the idea of her starting her own production company away from all the toxic colleagues, I wouldn't like to see her character debased by committing crimes. I feel this plotline could materialise if Dong Man secured funding from a competition/contest and she has a company set up to produce it using the funds. I mean this is how people do it in real life so there doesn't need to be any crimes :P
The woman in the front row that spent the entire play mindlessly scrolling on her phone kinda pissed me off lmao. Especially when it’s literally being recorded for a TV show and she’s in front row footage. Really disrespectful.
Otherwise great finale! The series had its ups and downs but overall I’m happy with what they produced within quite strict limitations.
Anyone else feel like it's just being milked now with no closure and season 3 bait? Predicting the villain of season 1 will somehow escape in the future too...
So is this really worth watching - take IU out of the picture for a moment, is the screenwriting actually good? I feel a lot of comments here are getting blinded by IU featuring as the FL...
He's the only one who has been friendly to her in the drama so far aside from her mother lol, even her close colleagues are trash talking her when they think she's not there.

Amazing drama overall. One of the best I’ve seen.
