Title The Inner Eye Spoiler
watched ep 24 and no sight of TYY huft 😭

atp i’m genuinely scared their relationship is only gonna get resolved in the very last episode. yes, adult relationships are more complex, but these two already know how they feel..so why does it feel like we’re running in circles instead of moving forward?

every time it seems like we’re about to get meaningful progress, the story pulls back again. we get buildup after buildup, but the payoff just keeps getting postponed. even the case isn’t doing much to distract because it’s pretty predictable, so all that’s left is me sitting here waiting for actual movement between TYY and KJ
which somehow still refuses to happen.

it honestly feels like they’re stretching everything just to keep viewers hanging, hoping we’ll stay tuned to see them finally get together in the last episode😭

i just watched ep 23 and yeah i get what you mean😭

one way i see it is everyone clocking each other. for TYY realization of her urgency to tell her feelings comes right after director chen’s talk about the whole “people who stay will stay, people who leave will leave” thing. it triggered her to realize she might be the reason KJ hasn’t made a decision yet, so she immediately calls him.

meanwhile KJ is doing what he does best, avoiding saying what he actually wants. man is allergic to “stay with me” or “let’s try” same old pattern as with his ex-wife😂 he’d rather let go to satisfy each parties than risk rejection. like TYY said, he’s full of contradictions.

when TYY tells him distance won’t define their relationship, it humbles him lmao. he was so stuck on the idea that love only works if two people stay in the same place, so her perspective catches him off guard.

maybe i’m overanalyzing, or maybe it’s just messy writing, but one thing for sure they’re def stretching this to hit that 30 ep target😅

episodes 22 and 23... kind of a weird case with a woman not wanting to do a DNA test on the child for her husband,…
atp i don’t even care about the case anymore, it’s getting ridiculous 😂 there are barely any courtroom scenes, just like the first part.

for me, the whole KJ and TYY push and pull feels like it’s written from a more mature perspective, where everything has to be thought through and confirmed before committing. it contrasts with the younger characters who blindly fall in love and end up messy like LXY. afterall, life isn’t only about romance; it’s also about career for them, but at the same time you still want the relationship to work.

what’s funny and interesting to me is how different TYY approach to relationships is between KJ and her ex. with KJ, she’s much more careful, takes her time, and opens up more. it feels like deep down she genuinely wants this one to last.

I agree with lin xiaoyun. I am also excited for the leads romance, their moments in eps 16 were really good, the…
yesss the sexual tension between them is just undeniable, and seeing tang ying ying slowly letting her guard down around kang junđŸ„ș
i also think she’ll notice he’s not planning to stay long(?) since he lives in a hotel. can’t wait to see how she reacts đŸ€

i thought this was gonna be a serious legal drama but turns out all the cases and characters so far are super makjang, like these fuckass men are written as straight-up trash lmaooo, but somehow i can’t stop watching 😭 i’m curious about kang jun’s divorce story bc the way he’s still friends with his ex-wife is lowkey cute

yes same here!! i watched it ongoing, but after finishing the last four episodes yesterday my rating went down
…
I think everyone who watched this ongoing solely for the plot is definitely gonna go feral with the second half.

Yes, agreed. Another unnecessary death that was so ridiculous it actually made me laugh, like really, what was that😭 I really don’t get what goes through cdrama screenwriters heads, they always find a way to butcher the endings.

Yes, idk why they had to fast-pace the ending like that. i really thought this was gonna be a slice-of-life, heartwarming story about a farmer’s life, but nooooo, the whole point wasn’t like that at all. But then what really made me rage was Ning Xuexiang’s ending, like what the hell?

From a daughter’s (me) point of view, how could someone who’s been treated so badly that she decided to cut ties with her family still show that much devotion??? like one sorry and he’s forgiven?? i just can’t accept that😭

i loved the first half so much, but the second half was just disappointing. still, nothing else this year hooked me from the very first episodes, so i still have a soft spot for it
