But if she was just a delicate little thing there’s no way she could’ve matched that monster energy from the ML. So yes, thank you drama writers for giving her sass and spine 🙏 Also turning him into a tortured soul instead of just a horny beast? Tbh, it’s way more sensual in the novel. She’s portrayed as this timid, obedient girl, while he’s just a full-on obsessive beast — like, it’s all about his physical obsession with her and there are lots of steamy moments. But for the drama, they toned him down, made him more human, and gave her some strength and attitude — which honestly I don’t mind. It makes her less passive and more relatable. Still... not sure how they’ll handle all that 18+ stuff on TV 👀 But like… how are they gonna pull off those scenes on TV without the censors having a heart attack? 😭

Okay but I’m dying to see how they pull off the steamy scenes between the leads… are we getting full novel energy or the PG version? 😭🔥

I totally get your point about Song Zu Er, but I don’t think it’s fair to judge her performance based on just a few early episodes — her character hasn’t even had the chance to develop yet. And if you already have a bad impression of her, it kinda makes it hard to see her acting with fresh eyes. That said, of course you’re free to love or dislike any character — not my place to tell you otherwise.

Anyway, no doubt the main lead is absolutely killing it — super talented with crazy strong charisma. As for the side characters, my personal faves are the chubby servant and his squad of the five goofy officers — they’re stealing every scene for me 😂"
