As for me, I don't really enjoy this series very much. It's not bad, but also characters aren't very likable,…
Same here. It's very aesthetically pleasing and it's amazing how SK is stepping up their game (from super short webseries to shows like this, with proper kissing scenes & stuff), but there's also something missing. I don't feel emotionally invested in this romance, these characters were barely introduced and they didn't really overcome any conflict/go through a journey before getting together. This may be enough for someone, but that someone ain't me.
1 episode in and they actually showed a lot of stuff in the opening (even the kiss)?? I thought Chinese dramas often spoil the plot, but with this one I feel like I've seen the whole thing already lmao. So far, it has a very different feel compared to the shows I've watched recently (because of the high school setting), but we'll see.
I'M GOING CRAZY BECAUSE OF THE MISSED INNER DIALOGUES PEOPLE FAILED TO WITNESS T_T (from the manhwa)...But as…
I saw a picture from the manhwa on instagram and apparently Sangwoo was thinking not very innocent thoughts when Jaeyoung was drawing on his arm... Rewatched the entire series yesterday and that scene was a whole new experience 👀 Definitely going to go read the comic now!
If you want to fill a Semantic Error void, don't watch this :D It's not that great and sometimes it's cringy.…
I've actually seen all the first three shows you recommended and loved all of them :D Started Color Ruch yesterday and can already see some faults with the execution of an otherwise great concept, a shame really. I think I'll give this one a try, seems like its getting better.
So I see folks have very mixed reactions about this show. For the people who liked it: what would you say is the best about this series? I have a Semantic Error-sized void to fill :(
Not a fan of the whole 'cross-dressing' thing that seems to be common in k dramas but I'll give this drama a chance…
Same, it's kind of disappointing, like they have to "justify" their relationship by showing one of them as more feminine. But I'll be watching too, since Tinted With You left me wanting for some proper historical BL.
The way South Korea is stepping up their game... This show was excellent with great editing, super enjoyable story and perfect chemistry (can't believe one of the actors is so young). I like drama, but the light-heartedness and humour coupled with computer science puns was just top tier fun. That's a 10/10 for me, Thai BLs should be shaking in their boots rn.
I've had a bit of a hard time getting through the last couple of episodes ... the pace is slowing down tremendeously…
I agree, feel like the crime plot alone isn't strong enough to carry the series. It's not particularly outstanding, so I can understand people who were counting on the BL elements to spice things up.
Also why everyone is telling the mastermind was a big twist? I knew he was not a regular player since GAME ONE.
I didn't pay much attention to the old guy because he wasn't the only one with insane luck, but after I finale I realised how much foreshadowing was there... The mastermind staging their death mid-game is the oldest trick in the book. I'd say it's one of the less predictable things about this show (because I knew everybody from the main cast would survive anyway).
Have any of you guys played the mobile game? I'm not quite ready to part with this series yet (at least a special episode is a MUST!) and I was thinking about getting it. (Also, the rating is so high, wow. I hope the directors and actors can feel our love through the screen lol)
*That* scene at the end had me cackling like an evil maniac, everything finally fell into place. I'm not going to lie that I wasn't rooting for them like crazy, what else is there to say except the fact that this was a super satisfying ending? So happy for Daon as well, living his life for himself.
I think saying that this series set a new standard won't be an overstatement. It was a blast to watch, hoping for more dramas like this in the future!
Dang, they really like keeping us on the edge of our seats, don't they? I think Taekyung already made his choice, even if it wasn't shown in the episode. I'm Team Shinwoo still, didn't TK say that he wants to reciprocate his feelings now? There was also a moment of nervousness when he was doing his makeup and Shinwoo was "too close" and after that, he kept looking for him in the audience the entire time. Come next ep, I think TK is going to finally confront him in a more assertive way. (If I'm wrong, we're rioting. Nah but seriously, following this series has been super fun no matter how the ending turns out)
I’m glad she said something about it because non-Chinese/non-Asian people have been really writing this off…
As someone who's country (non-Asian) was heavily impacted by the WW2 as well, I completely get what you mean. This whole issue is so sketchy, I don't know what to make of it. On one hand, I wouldn't want ZZH to get completely cancelled and forgotten, especially as a WOH fan. But on the other hand, he's an adult fully capable of understanding what was he doing while uploading such pictures on social media. Why on earth would someone do that, what could they possibly achieve? Especially a celebrity growing in popularity, someone was bound to dig those up sooner or later (and so they did).
Once again, Namgoong is proving to be the MVP. My man is looking out for everybody, but is there anyone taking care of him? Glad the Sohee matter is resolved now, wouldn't like it to take up more time than necessary. My heart dropped when Taekyung mentioned Daon again, but I hope Shinwoo doesn't plan on giving up, just like he promised. Just how many confessions does he have to make for his message to come across lmao
So I've binged this show despite the negative comments and honestly, I'm surprised? The plot had its ups and downs, but overall I enjoyed it a lot, a lighthearted drama (in other words: where nobody dies) with two great leads is just what I needed right now. Their relationship was quirky and complicated, but there were reasons for that, the ex showed up for only a few eps so it didn't bother be that much. I've seen much more mediocre shows that get a lot more love that this one... It wasn't the best thing ever in terms of plot, but I never expected it in the first place. To sum up: a very enjoyable experience, if anybody is feeling discouraged because of the bad reviews - give it a shot and see for yourself. Also... one of the leads looks so much like certain Korean idol it's almost eerie lmao. I loved the main CP though!
Gosh, I am enjoying this show so much! It's such a simple plot but the execution is just solid. I seriously hope…
I've just consumed all the available episodes and I must say, I was thinking the same thing! This show is just so good, nothing simple and naive like some short series tend to be and it even seems like it'll be tackling some pretty serious issue as early as the next episode. When I was starting to watch kdramas, those type of couples were just side-pairings made for laughs (if there even were any), so I'm really amazed having seen this one. And can I just say that Shinwoo is super precious? My heart is melting every time he shows up on the screen lol.
I believe it takes approx. 10 chaps more for his adult form to reappear. Dont worry Mo Ran is an idiot. He won’t…
Thanks a lot! 10 chapters more isn't that bad, we got some interesting interactions but to me CWN acting like a kid is just so out of character and I wish he could be back to his usual aloof self already. Lmao Mo Ran is truly living up to his name.
I'm at chapter 61, can somebody tell me when does CWN go back to his adult form? Not a fan of this plot, also constantly anxious that his secret will be revealed right in front of Mo Ran lmao
(Also, the rating is so high, wow. I hope the directors and actors can feel our love through the screen lol)

Yeah, my guess after two episodes is the tsundere guy. But who knows, Reply series had some twists as well.
