Sorry but the story is so frustrating to me and really seems to be leading nowhere, and the ending....what was that? The songs all sound the same. The must frustrating part is the pepsi ads everywhere.

Is this a remake after the korean drama?

I watched this with no subtitles and no knowledge of korean and despite all I understood everything, it was that simple minded. Good acting in some scenes but overall a cringy movie.
The stockholm syndrome plot seems to be pretty popular in asian culture . Would recommend for sheer entertainment.
