Just finished, and liked it very much. And now I'm wondering if anyone has read the book? Curious to know if the senior editor Yu and her writer were a couple in it - obviously wasn't going to happen in a mainstream Chinese drama, but I really felt they should have been getting married at the end too. :)

I liked this a lot. It's a quiet slice-of-life touching on heavy topics in a good way, with a lot of dry humor: heartfelt and very real.

Haha yes, my back-brain is hugely enjoying the oniony layers too while my front-brain is just goofily ♡＾▽＾♡ (^ ‿ ^) Hope the end is as good - the arc with little bro and Hae An is a tricky one, looking forwrd to seeing how they work that out.

Watched a couple eps and was trying to leave this on hold until it finished because waiting for airing dramas drive me nuts, but I foolishly watched ep 3 in a bored moment and aaaaaa! now the whole day has gone and I've run out of eps. SO GOOD. SO VERY GOOD

Yeah. I loved the way they flipped that - like we think he's an ass, getting drunk and wanting to party and schmooze instead of practicing, and then she finds out that he's doing it all for her and working really hard, and it is just adorable. The side-characters in this were all so good! - I even liked the ones we barely saw, like the fish farming guy.

I was thinking the same about his unbrushed teeth! :) Still cute though.

Yep, the biggest hearts in my eyes here are for the scriptwriter and the director. The story was good, the casting is on point, the visuals are wonderful, but the choices about what to show and tell, and the pacing of that is masterful. You could have the prettiest, most talented actors in the world and without that script it would fall over.

And her lipsticks :)
