dropped for various reasons, including the racist stereotype ;)
The show could've really done without it. It was supposed to be for comic relief but it just made me wanna stop watching the show.Hearing geum-bi call the darker second lead stuff like monkey, homo sapien and australopithecus was really triggering.

Agreed. For me I don't really like how they tried to make the story long with the story of Wu Yi's mom. Not that…
I totally felt the same way. I mean ,not to sound insensitive or anything like that but it felt really dragged and unnecessary

I’m on episode 17, and I’m getting tired of this push and pull between the main leads. I’m like, can you…

This was a pleasant and relaxing watch although I wouldn't say the story got me particularly involved. Yes it…
also irritated me(the whispering issue) until I read the book and I realised that joey(the author) said she suffered from lack of self esteem and I think that was Janice Wu's way of portraying a character who isn't sure of herself which makes her soft spoken. If you've noticed in the later scenes when she's older she is more animated and louder showing how she's grown out of her shell like the author said she eventually gained confidence.
