It uses classic tropes of orientalism witch plays into the racist narrative that people are the middle east are inherently exotic or other

I think that was a joke

I was not expecting that when Ryugi was vaporized my jaw dropped

I actually really enjoyed that

I like this show but it is quite racist and doesn't really follow mythology well
