I think you see her not having a personality because of the nice persona she have, but I feel like she was very blunt about her relationship at the beginning she straight forward rejected Geom. so she didn't just waited around, tbh I usually hates "nice polite innocent" female leads but she was different, I found her personality funny and just adorable.

how's a genuinely nice person who cares about his friends and others considered a cry baby? and I'm pretty sure he cried like once lol??? as u said I find how they portray his personality very refreshing to see someone who people could relate to, not everyone is "cool and emotionless" as they portray it a thousand time already in dramas..

I actually like this series alot!! everything from the concept to the cast is perfect, but as you said sometimes the CGI is really cringy lol they should've cared a bit more since its a fantasy drama. other than that I'm failing to find any flaws.

for me obviously I ship the fairy with kimkim, not only because the chemistry is way better. and him being the actual (husband) but because I think it's better for all the characters I think in order for the prof to forget his hatred and move on with his past he needs to be apart from the fairy. he should know the truth about Geum and forgive both of them, because his relationship with him is very deep and pure I don't want them to lose their bromance.

and the other reason is because I think the prof and his doctor friend should be together. she understand him pretty well and knows everything about his problems and she cares deeply for him without getting anything in return.

ok you might not agree but for the first time I really like this love triangle that was going on in this story, it's so different and I really liked it because it wasn't predictable!! the plot and characters relationship kept progressing tell the end, despite the other series where you know exactly who she will end up with.

honestly if there's anything right it was the ending (her breaking up with ml) other than that it was pretty shitty plot and how the handled everything else, and I too agree with u it's about Hong, but seeing her treated like shit and keep forgiving him for absolutely no reason, then waiting for him to come back to her!! was painful to watch..

just to cut it short for ya.. ML is trash it aint worth your time

damn it was such a waste of a good cast and a good premise!!
even tho I found some really negative reviews I wanted to give it a chance and try it for myself, I had really high expectation because all of the cast are my favs but it ended up way worse than expected.
this drama has all the ingredients to be the best drama except it being one of the worse..
I almost couldn't watch it because of the ML! wtf is up with him, it's so fucked up that she felt it was OK for him to do all the things that he did and continued to love him!!??
I honestly felt all the way through that the second ML should take over and just be with Hong. she really don't deserve to be played with and manipulated by the ML.

their relationship was so toxic and he was delusional manipulating everyone around him for his own benefit, in short a psychopath. throwing his friends and abandoning them then proceed to think they were the victim in all the situations.. how am I supposed to empathize with such person or root for them??
even in the ending (when he was supposed to realize his mistakes and wake up) he didn't show any regret nor he apologized to anyone that he hurted in the past!

and honestly the ending was so bad that it was funny, how she suddenly got hit by a car and they put In Ha in an asylum, I felt so bad for her. but it isn't even realistic but I'm glad that Hong Soel broke up with him.. even tho she continued to send him messages which made me so mad like wtf do you need more, he's a psychopath he basically ruined your life and broke up with u isn't this enough?

the only reason that kept me going was the supporting characters, it was interesting to see so many characters and how they interacted with each other.

well it's kind of a bitter sweet ending, and about him being alive do you mean the father? if so, both of them are already dead from the first episode lol... so they were only given a chance to fix some stuff before they eventually "leave" so you could imagine what will happen.

but believe me I don't watch melodrama and stuff so this one isn't sad, it's quite hilarious with some emotional scenes.. and it felt to me exactly the things that're supposed to happen.

I honestly love the mains so I was disappointed about the comments.. but I guess I'll give it a try :)

Did I mentioned how good Rain's acting is!!! I've watched Oh Yeon So and her acting is as good as I know her she could deliver all the feelings and she did really good portraying a man's personality, she wasn't afraid to act weird and silly and this is why I lover her!!!!

but the big surprise for me was Rain!! I didn't like him that much before.. but in this drama he's killing it!! he's so genuine and talented +plus points for the six pack ;)

damn this drama is a roller coaster of feelings!! and I absolutely loved every second of it!
loved the chemistry between all the characters!

loved all the cast honestly, specially Sueng Jae (the body guard)
