Title Game Sanaeha Spoiler
Nok's true nature was actually explained in the first minutes into the first episode. People kinda overlook the scene where Nok was betrayed by her friend as she submit Nok's paper under her name. This scene actually shows she was nice, until people take advantage of her kindness. To make it worse, she came home and found out her parents were also lying to her. For me, Nok is only a girl with TONS of trust issues, but instead of redirecting those issues into more positive-non harming outlet, she decides to take it all out on Nai and Khae, indirectly to her own father, all due to her assumptions, and to top it all, a grandma that would support her craziness just because blind hatred. Her environment were just plain awful and not supporting her to become someone decent.

While Nai, the selflessness of this guy was unmatchable. Kinda to the point where I really pitied him. BUT, in my opinion, he doesn't really show that he can be pushed around by Nok. There were times when he's firm so Nok doesn't have any other option but to go with his flow. They were good players, but the difference is Nai was smooth with his ways. For me, he is ultimately the winner of this game, although he pronounce himself as the loser.

Their romance was enjoyable (only when they are in good terms). James and Taew chemistry was definitely rated 10/10. THEIR VISUALS, can't find it anywhere in any other lakorn. The personal growth in their character was a 'meh' for me. The biggest turn off will be the root of their big conflict always disappointing. Maybe I can sympathize with Nok if the reason behind her madness was justifiable, but none. Loops of misunderstanding is what this lakorn centered its plot at. Overall I rate this 7/10, just because seeing Nai become Dad of The Year is definitely worth it.

The Japanese adaptations are surely climbing in my all-time-favorite list. well to be fair, each hanadan story line i have watched have their own charm. meteor garden (2018) centered its plot mainly on the drama-heavy on the romance, while hanadan (esp. season 1) were rom-COM, the comedy aspect is definitely the selling point and I'm pleasantly surprised. Hanadan successfully highlighted Domyouji sense of humor.

While watching hanadan, I also re-watch meteor garden (2018) just for comparison, and I found hanadan is a little more dark than meteor garden (just my thought). In hanadan, Domyouji's acts were very impactful to the life of many people, thus the burden become very heavy for both Domyouji and Makino. Also, the 'Ken' plot really brought to light the real nature of Domyouji; kind and genuine. Whilst in meteor garden (2018) this plot was missing.

I want to applaud the consistency of both seasons for making me want to WEEP when Domyouji put the necklace on Makino, each scene in each season were equally excellent and your heart just want to SCREAAAM. Good job overall. I can't decide which season I like the best, but I kinda agree that this season was more draggy and involves more third parties (ex: shigeru, umi) than the first one.

i think the male lead is the highlight of the story, which is fresh. i like his acting, very very much. he makes the story much much more convincing and seriously i would never continue to watch it if they change the male lead, because then this series wouldn't have its breath of life. although the female lead was also good, but in my opinion she got completely overshadowed by the male lead. but the story is just yas but not YAAS. good, but not deep. it feels like they were rushed. very watchable overall.

Title U-Prince: Hippy Spoiler
hands down this is probably the best u prince series ever. i just can't seem to find any flaw in their story. the actor and actress deliver the story in the richest way possible, making my heart clench most of the time, as if they were retelling their true story. there's zero awkwardness in their acting and i found that was quite amazing, more plus point for them both. and damn what a visual couple you got there, they're equally attractive im like??? yAs. their chemistry is the cherry on top, although sometimes i find that mel be said things that hurt hippie's feeling (yes, you can see hurt all written on his face, that's how great his acting was) and gurl im not liking that that much.

and for the story, well damn this is deep y'all just straight up ocean deep level. i'm warning you since i literally sobbed during the ending. there are many certain scene that will make your heart jolts in pain bcs IT WAS TOO REAL I CANT. i love that they met when the rest of the world are practically against them, and hearing hippie saying "rock" for the nth time makes me happy. mel be has become my favorite u princess, and yes, she rocks!

overall i think this u prince series stand out the most. from the characterization, plot, acting, and music. one thing i'm bitter about is how short they feel happy being with each other!!! hey five days are hella short and both of them emphasized that during the series, especially hippie who explicitly say that. and four episodes are way too short! i want to see their cameo in other u prince series but it seems impossible since hippie's story are the last in his inner circle ( the order goes from sibtit's, hawk's, kiryu's, hippie's)
