It's totally not like that XDD Who said that probably just want to share hate or did not watch or understand…
rape isn't always the same and just bc it's portrayed in an "acceptable" way here doesn't erase the fact that, you know, the characters *aren't actually real ppl but the writers are the real ones*. they're the ones that normalised this behaviour and let ppl think it's not a violation.
and why are you even bringing up a completely different drama? i dont even know what that is but you do realise you can condemn both dramas, right. i never said make it right was the only one at fault lmaoo the whole entertainment/media industry is fucked up

incest? They aren't even related in anyway. Just because your parents re-marry doesn't really change blood relation.…
@ me next time. incest isn't just about inbreeding lmfao and its not limited to blood relatives. incest is morally wrong and mentally damaging (i could write a whole spiel about why but im sure u know how to use google, there are a ton of psychology majors that explain why it's harmful to expose people to this kind of positive representation of "romance"). it doesn't matter how "pure" it looks on the surface, whoever wrote this drama is instilling into young girls minds that platonic/familial love is not enough to express their love for their family and glorifying the position of being a victim of incest.

statutory rape is still rape. period. a drunk person isnt in their right mind so they cant consent to sex (and he even gets mad at him the next day)

no only one of them was drunk...... drunk ppl cant consent to sex bc they're not fully conscious and the sober one took advantage of that......

for those confused by the "rape" incidents, here is my best interpretation / explanation for those who are unsure…
idk about ep 6 bc i didnt watch it but in ep 1 tee wasn't drunk. at all. only fuse was and drunk ppl can't consent to sex bc they're not fully conscious, and tee should know this

"we’re talking about human beings here. We’re all victims, we’re all aggressors and we all need to know when and how to take responsibility in spite of the adversity that culture places against us." its really easy to spot a sexual predator without the 'we're all humans' bullshit you're spouting. u basically admitted to acknowledging tee knew that fuse was intoxicated, and yet continued to act as if he was in his right mind. fake woke ass. bye.

romance dramas that involve cheating are always shitty lmaooo what surprised me was how normalised it was. and they turned it to some fake deep message like stfu the writers are just glorifying unhealthy relationships which in turn encourages ppl irl to be in the same situation. hai qing and yan fei's romance made zero sense lol i hope 2018 is the year heteros stop writing gay characters/relationships bc they'll just sprinkle it with straight culture. we dont want u.

you know what i'm tired of bigots so idc if i come off as aggressive anymore bc youre hurting so many victims irl by saying that you only care about dramas and gay ships, which basically means you really dont care about rape victims IRL that have been in this situation. fuse did not instigate it bc he was not completely conscious bc he was intoxicated. end of.

im guessing you dont have the slightest idea what rape culture even is. you not seeing the fact that Tee took advantage of Fuse and defending him is the epitome of rape culture. you VICTIM-BLAMING Fuse is rape culture. and the next day fuse wakes up and literally gets mad at Tee for having sex with him while he was drunk aka R A P I N G H I M. he even says he barely remembers BECAUSE he was intoxicated, i.e. he wasnt completely aware of his actions or as you call it "stupid decision". i cant believe youre dismissing this as the victim's "stupid decision". sure u can blame a drunk person for making a "stupid decision" such as instigating a fight bc THEYRE THE INSTIGATOR; THEYRE THE ONE INFLICTING HARM. meanwhile here, tee, knowing fuse is in a drunken stage, uses this to get what he wants from him. ppl like you saying the victim "asked for it" IS RAPE CULTURE BECAUSE A DRUNK PERSON IS NOT IN THEIR RIGHT STATE OF MIND TO BE MAKING THESE KIND OF DECISIONS, WHICH IS PRECISELY WHY HE REGRETS IT THE NEXT DAY (meanwhile tee gives a half-assed "apology"). why this interaction between them slips away from audiences and keeps them from realising that this is rape, is because the creators of this show made it this way aka simply dismissing this as nothing more than a mistake as if they both were drunk, which they werent only fuse was, by making (yes making bc if u didnt know THEY have control over these characters) fuse accept tee's apology; thereby --- wait for it --- CONTRIBUTING TO RAPE CULTURE. u see how your mindset is determined by the media u consume? i may come off as aggressive but i honestly want u as well as everyone that watches this show to see this and do better before shows like this corrupt you.

he was obviously drunk and had no control over himself and the other dude knew that but he had sex with him anyway = taking advantage of him while he was intoxicated = r a p e. it doesnt matter if it was a rash decision, he did it anway. and you saying its fine bc fuse thought of it or suggested it while he, let me repeat myself, WAS DRUNK, is why rape culture exists and why victims cant speak out for fear of being blamed for smth that isnt their fault

joke's on you i'm not actually a westerner i grew up in a country that normalised incest but that was from the older generation and this generation knows better (or at least should) and it's funny you say westerners are taught incest is wrong when incest literally happened everywhere and white ppl are the ones that get the most shit for normalising incest in the media (bc they do lol) without actually having a culture, meanwhile non-western countries actually suffer from this normalisation (like "third-world" countries) bc most of the time it's bc of patriarchal laws. but i'm not gonna get into that. i see you're trying to sound intellectual and see both sides but liberalism isn't progressive. incest is phsycologically unhealthy and abusive. it's as simple as that.

so your argument is: a lot of people like unhealthy shit so it's not unhealthy looooooll. if all you have to say is "it's not TECHNICALLY incest" the you need to reevaluate why you're even defending it in the first place. and incest isn't just gross because a child could be a product of it, it's because it's actually unhealthy, mentally, for people in the same family to be romantic with each other. and maybe if you had done your research you would actually know :). also i know you're gonna say "but they didn't know!!!" well the writers and creators knew and them using this circumstance so viewers can brush it aside is normalising incestuous relationships in real life.

incest is incest it doesn't matter if it's between men lmfao are you dense. they're step brothers and supporting characters have stated that multiple times and i'm not even gonna try to explain that to someone that asked "why would that matter?" about a show that used incest as the introduction of the main would-be-lovers characters. keep in mind you can't use the "they didn't know!" excuse because the creators/writers definitely knew.
