Celebrity A Memorable Fantasy with a Few Missing Pieces
I honestly didn't expect to get this invested in Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, but the story had me curious pretty early on. The whole idea of immortals, past lives, revenge, and people being connected to each other across centuries was really interesting. The dark atmosphere also worked in its favor, and I liked how the drama slowly revealed pieces of the past instead of explaining everything right away. It made me want to keep watching just to figure out what actually happened and how all these characters were connected. The acting was solid, and some of the characters had more depth than I initially expected. What I liked most was that the story wasn't just about immortality and revenge; there was also a lot of pain, guilt, and emotional baggage behind the characters' actions. However, I do think the pacing could have been better, especially in the middle, where some parts felt unnecessarily stretched out. The story also became a little complicated at times, and not every reveal hit as hard as I hoped it would. Still, the atmosphere, mystery, and emotional moments made it a pretty memorable watch for me.
I gave it a 7.5 because I genuinely liked the concept and the way the story connected the past with the present. The mystery kept me interested, and I appreciated that the characters weren't simply good or bad; there were reasons behind their choices, even when those choices were difficult to understand. The emotional side of the story was another strong point, and a few moments really stayed with me after watching. That said, I can't ignore the slow pacing and the fact that some parts could have been handled better. I also expected a little more from certain plot twists after the buildup they received. Overall, it's a solid fantasy drama with a dark atmosphere and an interesting story. It may not be perfect, but I think it's worth watching if you're into supernatural mysteries, past-life connections, and stories that mix revenge with emotional drama.
