Agreed! I am on ep 6 and this drama is surprisingly nice so far! SHK is excellent in this, his charm radiates.…
Yeah, I hate those. Maybe because I'm older and have been watching Dramas since the early 2000's. But those newer Dramas banking only on a cute main couple don't do it for me.
That's why I get mad when people just start giving 10/10 for any series just because the main couple is "cute". Here, you have it all. Good pace, well written, humor, a more realistic approach for the romance (when compared to other K-Dramas), there are no fillers in the middle nor stretching at the end. Everything is good about it. And not enough people have watched it! It deserves more love!
It is not overhyped. It is a great ride. Even if the ending kinda sucks. But, unsatisfying endings is something that we already expect in K-Dramas. Even in very good ones. The pace is great. There's no time for fillers. Even though they sneaked a short 30 min episode of it in there. The games are interesting. The characters are great. It is definitely worth your time. And being only 9 episode it is great to binge!
I heard so many good things about this drama and couldn't wait to watch. And then, I did! Very boring overall. Very little happens. It drags a lot. The characters are not memorable. There are very few emotive moments. Even the "Big Moments" of the series are very underwhelming. And everything just works itself out. It seems that there's nothing at stake. Definitely not great!
Is this show good and worth the time?? i always hear about how others love it and stuff but i was always hesitant
Good thing you asked! No, it isn't. I really don't understand why this is so celebrated. It starts really good. And it looks like it's gonna be very edgy with the girl confused as boy concept. But then it doesn't. And after episode 11 nothing interesting really happens. All the conflicts are already solved and the series just starts to drag. It is a 6 out of 10 for me.
I realy thought the homelessness aspect would be better explored. But it is just a device to kickstart the story. It's really not my kind of drama. I didin't like a single thing about it. The comedy, drama, treasure hunting, romance. Every single thing was very shallow.
This is a must watch! It is funny. It has its touching moments. And very endearing characters.
And it really takes its time. It doesn't rush anything. This drama is not afraid of spending a good chunk of an episode with just two characters talking.
Don't be afraid. Even though it takes its time. It doesn't mean that it drags either.
At first, it looks like a "Case of the Day" drama. Very episodic and fomulaic. Kinda like Gokusen, but with much higher stakes. But then, it breaks free of the formula and starts dealing with a lot of heavier topics. And I mean Heavy! It really makes you care about the main trio of characters. It also takes the time to present you with some surprises along the way. And good this is getting a second season. Because, I hate cliffhangers. It leaves nothing unsolved. Which was what I feared the most reading some stuff about it online. But, the ending makes you very curious. I pity the poor souls that watched this in 2017 and are only now getting a new season that will, hopefully, pick up from the cliffhanger.

And for the "I don't get it" part, why don't you enlight me? You wrote a lot. But, didn't point one single reason why this should be a good drama.
Does it get any better?
