Whoa, I just checked my notifications and saw there was a whole thread going on under my lighthearted comment. 1) smut is just a word for sexual activity in fiction 2) a series having smut/NC scenes isn't a bad thing (in fact, my comment said that's the best thing about this show). 3) I'm confused where this went wrong, but I'm sorry. 4) Not sure it's relevant, but since certain words were thrown around, I'm gay, and I suspect of an older generation than you, so you might not be familiar with the smut mags/novels which used to be the only rep we had in media, and my use of the term is absolutely not meant negatively. I'm very excited that we have shows like this now and that young people get to live in a world where we get queer love stories with happy endings!
I loved the first ep! It's got a nice balance of serious and comedy with a great cast. And the setting is beautiful! Can't wait to see where this goes!
