Thank you! Now I'll actually watch it. I hate when anytime a female character is present, no one can freaking just be friends with her. Someone always has to claim her, and it's gross.
"Dear lord, seeing Gun all sexy and badass like that.."Hell yeah, I mean he's always been badass, but not like…
Yeah, exactly. It's just a new kind of dark confidence that you don't see him with very often. He played a thug type in a movie I saw, and I imagine that's sort of similar to what we have here. Only this is more polished and complex, because he's older.

I wish we had some concrete information. I hate that these things basically rule my life, but I can't read or speak Chinese, Thai, or Korean, so I don't even really know where to dig up sources for information.
The dude that called their relationship disturbing or whatever--the pudgy guy. He wasn't a prominent character,…
Yeah, he was just the one who sold him out at the end. But I wonder if maybe he showed up more and we just didn't notice him. I caught a character like that in Manner of Death who had like no lines but actually did some significant stuff, and I didn't even see him in my first watch, lol.

I've seen people mention this here and there, but does anyone have a link or something to back this up? I REALLY hope we get a season 2, but the lead actors didn't seem to think a season 2 was coming just weeks ago, so I want to know what changed, if anything. (It'll break my heart if this is all a misunderstanding or false rumor.)
The dude that called their relationship disturbing or whatever--the pudgy guy. He wasn't a prominent character, I think he was only in a couple episodes. He was the one who betrayed Tangyi and sold him out when they kidnapped his younger sister.
Falling in love with Gun has taken me down some very odd cinematic roads, that's all I can say. This was... definitely not what I was expecting...? The guy who played Aun was hot, though.
Oh, but this is definitely making me even more excited for Not Me in the next few months. Gun is so freaking amazing in everything he does. I like this glimpse of his gritty side.
It's weird seeing cute, sweet little Gun playing such a nasty, violent character. This is definitely an... interesting film. Very strange, but the dedication to "pink films" at the end should clue you in a bit on the intention. Weirdness, artsy approaches, and lots of gratuitous sex. It's more of an homage to an already bizarre genre, so I guess there's no point looking too deeply for a hidden message. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
I saw people drawing the parallels between the other film and this one, suggesting this is a sequel, but other than the names and actors being the same, I don't really see how you can go from one to the other. The power dynamic is off. I feel like this could be an AU of the first, maybe, but James and Playboy don't have a relationship reflective of the first film in the second. Just my opinion, though. They're both pretty strange films, and a lot is up to the viewer decide.
thanks at least your looooong comment saved me the pain of watching it since I also found it in BL/LGBTQ+ list…
Saaaaaaaaaaaaaaame. I don't think it's a spoiler to say this is NOT A BL for those who found it off of that same list. Clearly the list creator hadn't actually seen it or looked closely.
They were asking strangers questions in Japan and Korea (and I know this is Thailand, but still) regarding a swastika-like…
Haha, don't feel bad. I laughed too. It's so wrong, but you can't help but find these things kind of hilarious, purely because it was done innocently. (But seriously, I haven't watched this show yet, and that's so freaking uncomfortable that one of the characters is wearing Nazi paraphernalia. I still don't get how people can be ignorant of that stuff.)
Umm, so Gawin's shirt at the beginning of Ep 3... I'm hoping it was as simple as someone not realizing what they…
They were asking strangers questions in Japan and Korea (and I know this is Thailand, but still) regarding a swastika-like symbol that was being used as an emoticon, and the people they talked to didn't even know what a swastika was. I feel like they'd never even heard of nazis. So somehow on that particular issue, it seems like younger Asian people may be woefully under-educated on the world wars. It's kind of crazy, all things considered.
But this day and age, there's really not an excuse there. Not like in the British kids film, *The Worst Witch*, where the head sorcerer of the school was called The Grand Wizard. They didn't have google back then. Just one of those unfortunate things.
Dear lord, seeing Gun all sexy and badass like that... My heart wasn't ready. I think I might explode waiting for this damn thing to come out. Can't freaking wait. Also, the kiss at the end of the trailer? I'm dying.
Right? I hate when that's shoved in there when it's totally inappropriate for the story and situation. I'm looking forward to watching this now. I was wary because it's forced so often.
