Anyone else still bothered that SDM treated the letters as literally nothing when she was obsessing over them for 15 years??? The character consistency as well when she said she wanted "facts not dreams"??? She felt like a more developed character at the start tbh
Also I just refuse to believe that the symbolisms don't mean anything!!! There are sooooo many symbolisms and surely not all of them are coincidence?
What does everyone think the plot twist that Suzy and Kim Seonho hinted about is??? I really am lowkey clinging onto 0.000001% of Jidal endgame (yes I'm the whole circus) but we see that NDS and SDM kiss in front of the church so I doubt they would do a 360 on her and have her finally realise that she actually loves HJP and runs to him instead??? I can't think of any other plot twists except for the Jidal endgame
I think we have been looking at this all wrong. It's never been about HJP being honest with his feelings, or NDS…
I love this and knowing the writer whose known for her details...this is possible but the kiss scene in front of the church broke my heart and in the preview when SDM and HJP chat on the rooftop, HJP walks away while SDM watches (my delusional self is hoping she'll come to her senses and chase after him but I know thats not happening lol) and NDS also says he'll propose if they land it
I think it flopped down towards episode 11 and continues to do so towards the end.
I agree. The first half was really solid and well done and it went downhill when the lie was exposed and then they literally ignored the letters for at least 4 episodes and it suddenly comes back except Dalmi doesn't even care
I feel like the drama has a strong start and I can't believe this is the same writer of some of my fave kdramas "I hear your voice," "while you were sleeping" and "pinocchio" I'm really really disappointed in the poor writing and lack of character development and I feel like Seo Dalmi was good at the start but her character development became character degradation
Been a lurker and I'm so disappointed...what was the point of all of the symbolism throughout the drama??? Jidal nation, thank you for being so clever with your theories - I'm not sure if i can watch the last two eps
I watched it with my mother and we cried and laughed together, it was really good and we bonded more through the…
Yeah! My mum was comfortable because she knew that Lee Dohyun's character was the husband so she was fine with the age gap. I see, maybe she could relate to it a bit? (not sure)
Best kdrama ever this year, I'm calling the shots 18 again is the best kdrama of 2020, from romance to comedy to family, the tears and the laughter. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Lee Dohyun and Hwang Inyeop's dramas!!
Also I just refuse to believe that the symbolisms don't mean anything!!! There are sooooo many symbolisms and surely not all of them are coincidence?
Also I do wish Jasung had more closure, one of the best kdrama characters everrrr
