in episode 9, how did jo yeong have footage of 2022 on his laptop and how come lee gon wasn't even surprised? those footages from the future were so confusing for me

i wrote a blog post of all the remaining questions i have on the drama. pls share with me your thoughts and theories. i honestly enjoy everything about this drama EXCEPT for the chemistry like it feels so out of place and random, i was on my phone when she apparently said "i love you" like i missed that part and i think i'd feel strange if i watched it. BUT i actually love the plot and am really interested to see how it will all unravel.

I agree with you Most "popular" dramas have sappy, romantic and more straightforward plots. This plot is much more complex and requires more thinking to fully understand it (that's the joy of this drama). I also enjoy watching the drama and am excited to see how it will unfold

l loved this drama so much. Really intense even til the very end. I think I missed something so I still have a couple of questions

1. Why was Professor Hwang's reason for constantly reseting? He mentioned he always wanted to die and it happened when he was fishing and fell - then how did he know it was the tunnel and down the cliff? Was the sole reason for resetting really just to watch everything unfold for fun?
2. Why does Professor Hwang need Shin for the reset? He was able to do it perfectly fine himself at the end
3. I thought Oh Myungchul killed Ji Hyeongju in the first 5 timeslines (that we are aware of) and then in timeline 6 (ep 1) he killed Park Seonho instead as Professor Hwang said the best revenge was suffering. Then we are shown in the last episode that Ji Hyeongju dies saving Gahyun?

Not sure if I'm digging too deep into this but if anyone could explain that would be great!

THAT EPISODE WAS CRAZY!! So satisfying seeing Sunho get arrested but lol of course he escaped during the accident. I love how this drama actually has smart characters for once...both leads are so quick to act and clever. I did suspect gramps was the Professor but he's so involved. I'm just confused to how he's alive...it seemed like Sunho had killed him and Sunho even replied on his behalf...wondering if something happened there???

Also, one of my fave parts from the latest ep is that Gahyeon is SO SMART I love how she didn't head first ask Detective Park if it was him (like what most dumb female leads would probably do) but rather said that she didn't find it out.

Thats exactly what I thought!! I interpreted it as all the resetters were all killed by the same person (Detective Park) so that's how Hyung Joo is able to do the reset as Detective Park was killed right away in the previous timeline. And that Detective Park has succeeded in the first 5 timelines. Can anyone answer our question?

Sorry, not sure if I missed something, but in the original timeline, you said "Sunho was arrested by Hyungjo?" I thought that in the original timelines Sunho killed Hyungjo?

I'm loving the plot twists. I see some comments saying that Ji Hyungjoo arrested Park Sunho in the previous timelines? I might have missed it in the drama, so did this actually happen or is it just speculation?

anyone else feel like a clown after knowing it was park sunho? i was rooting for the bromance and got so upset when i thought BJT was gonna kill park sunho. and i thought he was the caring and funny detective. i hope the drama gives valid reasons about why he's doing all this.

for the second question, i do get what happens in the latest loop where HYX had failed but she managed to go back because she played the tape in her car and she was able to go back and fix it. however what happened to her in the previous post failed attempts? i.e. how did she get the chance to time travel back again after CYR had died previously? would her memories of previously travelling have to be wiped or does her timeline go back as well such as maybe to when she meets WQS or even birth?

thank you for your reply!! i don't know why but my head can wrap about the characters going to the past to change the future even when 2 of them exist (e.g. HYX-CYR body and the doctor) but my head can't wrap around going to the future, then going back to original timeline so here are some of my other thoughts.

1. i understand the soul part now. at what point in time does HYX soul go back to her body when CYR dies? is it when she is a kid (back to 1998) or to after LZW-WQS body dies? the loops give me a headache. to clarify, in the last loop, the timeline, young LZW goes back to 2003 body during what may be a milisecond for us and HYX, LZW has lived from 2003 all the way to 2019?? would that mean HYX and young LZW had dated multiple times in order for them to time travel? and that HYX has travelled to past multiple times and tried many times to save CYR and interacted with LZW, that was a lot of rambling - i don't know if there is an answer for this, but is there an answer to the question as to Who time travelled in the first place for everything to begin? logically should be HYX so LZW knows how to act as WQS but also doesn't make much sense unless if HYX and LZW are destined to be together even without CYR-HYX body in and LZW meeting in 1998 in the very first place? but then there's the walkman and tape which LZW is supposed to give TTTTT

2. so 2 LZW exist in 2003-2017 but only one LZW exists after 2017 (plane crash). i interpret it as in that last time loop while young LZW body died, old LZW and young LZW souls combine as one to go back to the chronological original LZW in 2003 post car crash. and this happens everytime they fail to change the past. what confuses me is what happened at the airport the previous time young and old LZW met?

3 and 4 make perfect sense to me, thank you!! i think i'm torturing myself by analysing it so much. i am rewatching the drama now so hopefully i can pick up on more small details and understand it better especially the airport scene

chiming in! i haven't watched many time travel dramas so still confused about the infinite loop. so there is no starting point? logically then how did LZW know to act like WQS-LZW the first time round? and what happened to 2019 HYX after the first few failed attempts in changing the past? like was she reborn, LZW jumped to future and then repeat?

1. because everything is a loop, then what happened in the past to HYX and LZW. for example on HYX case, what happens to her if CYR died? it shows she still lives but then how does the loop happen for her to go back? for example for LZW the airport scene confused me. I assume this time he boarded the plane so that WQS body dies and he goes back to 2003 to wait 15 years to see her again. but what happened on the past?????? like did he board the plane before??

2. from 2003-2019 does that mean two LZW exists and is he in control of both minds?

3. was there a starting point for the loop?

4. who gave her the walkman?
