I had this movie on my watchlist for years and I finally decided to watch it yesterday and now I honestly wish I could unsee what I've seen. Don't get me wrong it's nothing against the movie or the actors, they were phenomenal; and I have given it a 8.5. Kudos to the young actors for the stellar performance. But a day after watching it and I still can't get over the emotions. I feel angry, sad, disgusted, and horrified at the idea of breathing the same air as these pedophiles and predators in general. And to make things worse I woke up this morning to the sad news that a boy of 11 years old who was missing since Monday was discovered this morning, or rather his body, buried in a public park after beeing raped and strangled. I cried my heart out yesterday while watching the movie and did today after hearing the news. Let's cross our fingers and hope for a better tomorrow for our kids.
I want to watch it but I can't really digest any horror ghostly things and Guest really scared the shit out of…
It's nothing like the guest; although it's one of my favorite dramas, I confirm that it's not for everyone. The first couple of episodes were quite interesting and the "ghosts" are not scary like in other dramas. You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the ghosts and the humans. Give it a try!!
QUIZ: Which “It’s Okay To Not Be Okay” Character Are You?https://www.soompi.com/article/1410519wpp/quiz-which-its-okay-to-not-be-okay-character-are-you
I would also recommend watching oh my baby or Mystic Pop-Up Bar.
Yes yes It’s a very different from any other drama airing right now, it’s so refreshing and the comedy is just perfect it reminds me of the old good day’s of kdrama. Another good option is Dinner mate, the first six episodes are really solid.
Oh man, the comments on this drama are definitely convincing me that maybe this might not be one to pick up. I…
Just ignore the comments and give it a try. The comments are basically a compilation of the clans of each male lead defending them. This drama is not perfect, the leads have many flaws and none of them is perfect or innocent, but it’s not the worst drama out there imo. It’s true that some choices are not acceptable and a few things are illogical, but this is the case in many kdramas, they are still entertaining even if not believable 100% and that’s why we are here. Like the saying goes « to each their own » i guess.
SH is such a big A$$ ... that felt so good lol. Seriously though, the guys is a prosecutor, he should act like one. Imo he is more obsessed with JB than JB is obsessed with SB. He has no concrete evidence apart from stuff here and there and yet he maintains that JB is the killer. What pisses me off is not that he suspects JB. It's the fact that he is so conviced and does not leave any room for the possibility that the killer is someone else; which is the case. The killer is free and killing people left and right while he is following his newfound "love" and her stalkerish student. Way to go for a supposed elite prosecutor. And before people come at me, I don't like JB either (acting all smart and mighty while hos IQ is below 0) and I don't care who SB ends up with. The romance part is the least interesting part for me.
I don’t know about you guys but I’m a bit disappointed with the ending. Cha Moon Sook was portrayed as a very smart scheming villain who was always many steps ahead of everyone, so for her to be defeated easily and without strong evidence... nah I’m not buying it. Also from Bong sang pil’s perspective she destroyed his family and his childhood so i was waiting some kind of a emotional showdown between the two which was not the case. It was a bit rushed and not satisfactory at all, still it’s a solid drama and I don’t regret watching it, mainly due to the epic performances of the actors especially Cha Moon Soook and Ahn Oh Joo, they totally stole the show. Another thing worth mentioning is the female lead, she is not your typical dreamy, romantic and weak character portrayed in almost every other drama. She is smart, strong and responsible, in one word a real “ badass”. A solid 8.5/10
I like it. I really do.But guys,... 8.8?That's too much for so much stiffness, aint it?I'm sad for all the lovely…
No you are absolutely right, i like it too but 8.8 while still airing is a bit too much. There was a time when you would find real good dramas at the top when you check the rating, nowadays it's a competition between the fanbases of each superstar. The story doesn't matter anymore, it only depends on who is acting.. which is sad to say the least.
The drama was going strong till the last 2 episodes, they were filled with boring scenes and left out the important stuff . That's why I had to lower the rating coz i was so pissed off. Lonney went through hell throughout the drama so they could have given him a better ending or at least give us an explanation (how the drugs guy knew when he will be released and what happened to him afterwards). And i would have loved to see how the Ajushi goes with his life after 22 years in prison and discovering he has a child.... etc These details ruined the drama for me, i was so pissed off and the only consolation would be a 2nd season... which is unlikely given the history of kdrama with second seasons. Still a decent drama nonetheless, especially the humour. It was fun watching this, kudos to the actors. Each one of them did a great job portraying his character.
Everyone complaining that 2017 has no good dramas.
But are you watching this?
I think people just need to stop being so judgemental, 2017 has been decent so far there are many good dramas ( voice , Chicago Typewriter , defendant, tunnel , rebel, chief kim... etc etc) plus k dramas tend to get even better in the second half of the year so everyone please wait for the year to end before you start complaining
Mmmh This one, Tunnel or Circle? The reviews are pretty good for the three dramas, which one would you suggest?
Tunnel is so good even though the ending was not as satisfying as I waited for but still a very decent drama, haven't started circle yet.
As for Chicago Typewriter, so far so good .. if the last two episodes are in the same level then this would be one of the best dramas of 2017.
I hope this would help you get an idea
Just finished the show, it was great but now what do I watch?
Strong woman is a sweet drama that makes you smile the whole time, the story is not so original and a bit cliché, yet the chemistry of the main couple saves the day.
You might want to wait for it to end .. i started it this weekend thinking i would watch 2 episodes per day, now i am at ep 27 and i regret my decision
It's my first time watching a 50 episodes drama, and surprisingly it is very entertaining and i regret starting it early because I can't wait for the next episode!!
But a day after watching it and I still can't get over the emotions. I feel angry, sad, disgusted, and horrified at the idea of breathing the same air as these pedophiles and predators in general.
