Nah it looks like something I'd find boring just like the others I tried. It's at the top of nirvana in fire's recommendations, my least favourite one so far.

Does it pick up the pace at all? 5 episodes in and it was pretty boring.

Yeah I hear you. I've honestly spent too much time explaining why I disliked this so all I can say is if you're really curious you might find a few rants here by searching my name.

Aside from the acting, I can't name a single thing about the drama that was good. Seems like that's an unpopular opinion here, oh well.

There's maybe 1 proper fight scene per episode, the majority of it is the military being corrupt etc.

Fair enough, but there's literally an action tag on the drama... so if you dislike action, no point in really looking into it.

If you hate action why even consider an action drama? Look for romance.

I don't think there's any other dark fantasy kdramas that can chat to this. Only Joseon Exorcist had the potential, and obviously it was cancelled.

Eh fair enough, but I can't even consider Happiness a zombie drama. It was mostly just a failed attempt at some kind of social commentary, which ended up with just too many unrealistic cartoonish characters. Also regarding the leads, the romance felt way too forced for about 6 episodes, it would've been a lot better if it didn't exist as it took away from the problem at hand... that being the zombies.

That's what I was referring to at the end, repeating the same lines. When she was introduced all she would do is tell the main character the exact same thing, and it was for about 2 whole episodes before that changed.

You do realise this isn't a netflix drama, it's a SBS drama that's also on Netflix.

Much better. It just felt very bland. She was like a robot for the first 3 episodes she was in repeating the same lines, and after that... boring.
