Can't lie I think both sides of the people here are acting pretty stupid. First off the people thinking it's complete garbage, it's really far from it. You make points that there's absolutely no character development which is objectively false, as seen especially by the brilliant main character later in the show. However for the people hating on the "haters" and comparing this show to another that the people who dislike this consider to be good, it's not a good look. It's a fact that this drama is slow, and people who don't like the slow pacing of it are obviously going to be bored. Even I was bored half the time, because it's unnecessarily slow at times. For my issue with the drama, they said it's a drama focused on the profiling, yet the majority of the cases were actually solved from either other methods or just complete coincidences. They also didn't actually have many interviews shown in the drama which were actually the best scenes, so that was unfortunate. There were also coincidences, but I can't be bothered to get into that.
Overall, 7/10 for me personally. Good drama with good acting from the main two leads specifically, could've been better paced and for a show that's supposed to be realistic maybe a little too many coincidences or unrealistic fight/chase scenes.
Not really, it's a pretty boring show but it's not bad. I agree with them being either trolls or very stupid though if they can't recognise development.
I agree with most of your points, but saying there's no development to the characters at all is objectively wrong, as seen with the main character Ha Young. Maybe you just didn't get far enough, but he has some great development, and that's coming from someone who doesn't like the show.
I don't get a lot of these comments wrt romance. Why would you all hate romance in this genre? Like what bothers…
Because a lot of the time these South Korean drama writers just can't mix the two genres well enough. I'm all for it if they're competent, but that's a rarity.
Highly talented, I wonder if he'll ever give a drama a shot considering Netflix is able to bring a lot more gritty stories out. One of the best in the country.
