it wasn't even "BL" (I know it is adapted from BL novel)...it already passed censorship and green-lit to air. so...idk what youku's excuse is. They never really gave us a reason why it got pulled off.
what in the world is going on with Youku?! last drama I watched was 'JITD'...first dropped only with machine subs then abandoned us high and dry after 8th episode without any trace till this day. they've been keep pushing Anle premier for a considerable amount of times and still failed to provide a proper sub.
The director really f**ked it up with the pacing and unnecessary office scenes (yes, even on the cut version)...instead, they should have written Jaab and Jane story line a bit more interesting. Plus, I loathe this 'Pat' character with a passion...watching his indecisiveness on even trivial matters...the facial expression he makes like he holding in No.2 or something makes me uncomfortable to watch. Zaddy deserves so much better.

I wouldn't compare it to the OG Addicted. First of all, they guys do actually look like they are in high school (Timmy and Johnny looked a little older to be in HS though they were about the same age as these two while filming Addicted). Secondly, no Brokeback Mountain Guitar tune is used lol. Unlike OG, we know first hand it is a 'Bromance' going in so I treated it as one. So far (up to ep4), the story telling, acting, character development, they are all pretty good. I like the variation they added to the story. Please, for the love of me, don't pull a 'Justice in the Dark' on us, porfavor🙏

I'll be honest when they announced they swap Mike for Gawin, I have my doubts (not because I dislike the actor but it's Mike's first Lead role)...but he has proven week after week that Pisaeng role IS SPECIFICALLY WRITTEN FOR GAWIN! I can't think of anyone who's a better fit for the role. and appreciating his GLOW UP all the way from 'DBK' to here....the lewk, the hair, the acting ...all 10s across the board 👏👏

I'll say this....If you skip this week episode and go straight to the next week's, you'd still be able to catch up with the story. lol the love triangle with the MLs and the 2nd couple left me smoked, mirrored and in very gray area where I don't really understand where any of individuals stand emotionally atm.
