the way she says that cheng shaoshang is bad and unlike Yangyang really disgusts me like a girl you are the one who robbed her of her right to grow up innocent and full of love like Yangyang and you still have the face to say it. she's the one in the first place who doesn't qualify to say that.

i understand her mother's intentions are good but doing it the wrong way will never be right in my opinion. her mother never thought from cheng shaoshang's point of view, she focused on what should be there rather than what she needed the most. the fact how she became so naughty & wild shows how hard & difficult her life was that she could fall to that point in order to survive. when her mother brought the ruler the first thing cheng shaoshang thought was that she wanted to punish her for what she had gotten so far and it really hurt me that what she had been dreaming of all his life would be owned by someone else from the person she most hoped for to come.

also the innocence and tenderness that Yangyang possesses is a blessing that comes from god and her parents have robbed her of her right to be like that from the first place. they are the first to have no entittled to call her bad.

maybe they don't want to stay away with their other children, one is enough. also from what her father said, he didn't think that his family would treat her badly considering he was supporting the whole family and was only at the point of being separated.

and she spoke very softly and hugged someone else's daughter when the one who had the most to lose was her own daughter for everything that happened. as a general maybe what Shaoshang went through didn't deserve her mercy but she was just a little baby who had to endure oppression during her period of growth. and even when the parents come home all they do is talk to their grandmother when they clearly know that their child has been abused for life and even near death, eat that devotion! then at that time xuanyi still said she was a naughty girl wanted her to be like Yangyang? then it's your own fault for leaving her just to be a virtuous son-in-law, if she is like Yanyang all they get is her ashes. her parents irritated me more than grandmother & second aunt.

however their relationship develops then i cant like her mother unless something big really happens, she keeps complaining about shaoshang when she is not a good mother to her either. Everyone said they had their reasons when the one who really had no choice was Shaoshang. The way she looked at yangyang and her mother really made me cry hard as her eyes tried not to care while her heart was burning. Xuanyi might be concerned because she was the one who sent Yangyang's mother far away but she forgot that the person who was hurt the most from the schemes they had created was her own daughter & wanted her to grow up to be soft heart like Yangyang?? what a bullshit when she keeps blaming her, she is worse than her second aunt. if Shaoshangs have characters like Yangyang all that is waiting for them to come home is only her ashes.

When she met them after 10 years the first thing her parents did was to educate her firmly when what she had dreamed of her whole life was to be loved & cherished by someone, I know her mother's intentions were good & her upbringing was firm considering she was a general but the first place Shaoshang needed was warmth of heart and in the predictable next plot what has been her lifelong dream of being owned by a child from someone who became the source of her suffering starting from the moment she set foot in the world.

I haven't cried for a long time because of a drama but I really cry thinking about her life experiences even though they don't try to be dramatic considering Shaoshang doesn't put all her hopes on love but as someone who has a heart the desire to be loved is always a little secret in someone's heart.

can u tell me who is new director?

i was surprised to find this good after reading the novel and found that it was adapted a long time ago. i finished it in 3 days and as someone who isn't comfortable watching adaptations having shadows this is great in my opinion maybe bcs expectations were low from the start. the writer clearly understood the essence of the story & made changes to the right parts so that i could enjoy this drama without having any shadow of the plot of the novel.
there are three complaints i have, the first is the lack of interaction between the main cast which makes me feel like they don't have the strong bond they should have and i know they can.
the second is the kidnapping scene of Jenny, maybe because the novel gave me a bit of paranoia with no end and was too strong, the scenes in dramas like Jabber just did what was necessary一gives her drugs & treated her like her was porcelain.
the last one is Jenny's character, yeah i'm too much overshadowed by the original novel. even though they are both gentle and rookie, Jenny in the drama is more like a follower of Simon Bo although that's understandable considering she never studied professionally while Simon Bo is the top man in his field but still it makes me a little uncomfortable remembering Jenny in the novel like a companion who for so long this is Simon looking for. and like Li Xunran's case, i think Jenny in the novel is tougher mentally & emotionally i'm not saying that Jenny in drama is weak but she is 'normal' and what she should be. but somehow what they face different makes me relieved.
