I have to thank My Stand-In for being that something different that bl needed now and having a Red Flag as a protagonist. Honestly, I'm so tired of stories with no substance and fluff and the green flags I'm bored to tears of those types of dramas because there are so many already I needed a drama like this. I'm glad it's ending b4 they turn Ming into a pansy for me Ming is a breath of air in the sea of boring green flags and I really liked that. I don't want to see characters that conform to my moral values but complex characters that have their own motivations, drive and values in a more complex story where there is suffering stress angst and bittersweetness different from the many school romances or office romances available which this kind of fulfilled. I commend the authors and actors on this project and I will rate a 10/10 for me regardless of the ending because it was a fun ride while it lasted.

I enjoyed this episode 9 a lot better then 8 I feel like maybe the Ter and Taem subplots that I feared would drag on to the end have concluded but ig we will see I also liked the focus on Cher and Yei+ the father in this episode.

I agree don't get me wrong I love Yak and Dee's chemistry but I feel plot wise it's not really giving much in that case this really is for people who just want pure fluff and likeable characters. I also have to say I'm not a big fan of green flags precisely because they get walked on so much by the other person, it's like they got no agency or something in the stories that's why I love my red flags no matter what anyone says but anywhoo I think the charm of this drama really is the cuteness and the really good-looking leads. I stopped expecting anything impressive story wise so I can enjoy it better but I basically agree with your comment .

agree so much with this right now this was the first episode I was so bored and they be dragging out the kiss on mouth again after they just last episode like why? it's getting annoying and repetitive idk i hope it picks up ig cause what a waste of good chemistry and cast if not

The erasure of the gay aspect of this story is outrageous homophobic people who want a straight story or a bromance because they don't want their sensibilities jeopardized are free to watch something adapted from a straight gangster story but to take our gay/lesbian stories and straight-wash them is disgusting to say the least. this drama deserves the backlash it gets and more idc how people word it to justify what this producer has done even if the creator maybe agreed to it for money it is HOMOPHOBIA LOUD AND CLEAR mkay
