I don't really get where all the hate is coming from since the series honestly just been amazing, giving cliffhangers…
I guess there are people who doesn't listen or don't read the subs. *shrug
Sadly not everyone can understand it. Oh well, I am enjoying as much as I have since episode 1. And had binge watched it for the 3rd time just to make sure I didn't miss something. :) Cheers viewers!
Re-watching this drama. It's as intense as the first time I've watched it, as good as the western crime series I followed over the years and it brings back bits and pieces of Frequency too.
Am I the only one confused about the real world appearing in the webtoon? I get that Yeon Joo gets dragged into…
Like MaRinaLuli said, as long as the main character is involve, it will appear in the manhwa, regardless of location.
About the killer and Sung Moo, it does feel strange. But they did explain why and how it happened.
I absolutely loved this episode but there's something I don't understand quite well yet... How is it possible…
Yep, you did pinned it down.Though, they didn't really switched. They're the same person. The killer became Mung Soo himself. Two bodies with one soul. That's why the killer knows every memory and thoughts he has. Now that he acquired all that knowledge, including emotions, the killer became outraged. Unfortunately for Mung Soo, he became his own worst enemy, overpowered and slaughtered by his other self.
Yeon Joo needs to give herself a background and an identity in W. I was thinking why she didn't do that when she…
I guess she got all wrapped up in creating a story and sketching relentlessly all night just to bring him back to life. And then she got caught up with their "romance". They both dived into their suppose "happy ending"...forgot about everyone else, including the killer. When things went awry, Chul and Sung Moo tried to change it again by excluding Yeon Joo in the story.
This time, Sung Moo made one small mistake... he did not exclude himself. Now, everything went from bad to worst. It's one helluva crazy rollercoaster. I think I'm turning into Dr. Park Min Soo at this very moment. W Jjang! *quiver
Currently watching W's Special. I still can't get over those scenes when Kang Chul unconsciously brings Yeon Joo back to his world. It hurts.
It really hurts especially when you can relate to that situation. T . T
The end of episode 9 became so creepy, like in horror movie! I wonder, if I should watch this show...
The killer stole Sung Moo's face, I think its already a given that his face will become scary. No one in this world can imagine a person with "no face". Even Soo Bong screamed to the top of his lungs and fainted.
You can just close your eyes or skip that part if you want. ^_^ I on the other hand am curious how the heck did the killer stole his face.
There's something I don't understand... Why do people find it ridiculous that Oh Yeon Joo loves Kang Chul? Because…
Sung Moo practically based it from Yeon Joo's ideal type. However, she didn't named him so she had no idea at all. And as she continue to read and follow the manhwa, she came to like W's protagonist unconsciously. But I think she only realized she loved him when he left for Busan and New York.
Kang Chul on the other hand began to question his existence. And when Yeon Joo appeared, he had that inkling feeling that she knew the answer. And as she continue to appear/disappear, and confuse him, his curiosity, need and desperation for an answer grew.
And when he learned the truth, I think dearD4NI pretty much answered that. Overwhelmed, and with no one else to turn to except Yeon Joo, she became his person, his last light, his reason to live. Consequently, his feelings changed from need to love.
Am i the only one who sometimes kind of.. forgets that hyun ji is a ghost? I mean they made her so much like a…
I don't get confuse but I do get annoyed.
I know this things are considered popular culture, folkore or non-scientific, a phenomena that goes againts the laws of nature. However, stories told by those who can feel or see shared many similarities that provided a basis. This one goes against those basis.
I question why is she the only ghost that looks normal? The rest either looks like Sadako or either as pale as white. I understand they wanted to make her look normal so the "romance" won't look awkward, but I don't find it justifiable. A medium like Bong Pal, can either see a ghost that looks normal like any other person or may look like how she died. But he can never see them in two versions, unless he sees a retrocognition.
And I agree with the food missing in the fridge. A ghost can ONLY eat a food IF it's offered to them by prayer, usually placed in an altar or on their graves. I'm pretty sure Bong Pal didn't offered those food.
Then the fact that she drowned in one episode. A ghost will usually experience the same death over and over again. We've seen how she died, it was bloody but there wasn't even a sign of water anywhere. Unless that recognition I saw was incomplete, who knows...she might have drowned first? *shrug
“W” Broadcast May Be Affected By Rio Olympic Games: http://www.soompi.com/2016/08/05/w-broadcast-may-affected-rio-olympic-games/?utm_source=viki&utm_medium=newsmodule-homepage-web&utm_campaign=soompi_news_module&utm_content=homepage
There's a chance that 7th episode will air. Except for 8th episode, since Rio's schedule will air earlier.
The first two episodes completely engrossed me to the point that I wanted to see what was next. But then exasperation kicked in on the 5th and 6th episode. The whole push and pull situation felt like running smack into a wall. It may be too soon to judge but I'm about to plunge into a deep sleep. Save me dear writer!
Sometimes adding a pinch of fantasy can make a story a lot more interesting. However I think that first 15 minute backstory was a bit too long though. Meh, just shrug it off and move on. After that scene, curiosity will start to build up. Then it will grip you back to your sit and will make you stare in awe(I'm not talking about the character, lets focus on the story) for the next three episode. Just like how It's Okay, That's Love did, the fourth episode was like the tip of the iceberg. You think you know but... there might be something more. 3rd and 4th episode made me cringed, had taken me aback and pushed me at the edge of my seat.
Thank you for all that suspense, my dopamine level skyrocketed. However, there's still 11 episodes more to go, which means I must remain grounded. Still, I am hoping this series will accomplish its purpose.
Signal's storyline contains otherwordly events which I think has certain similarities to an American film released back in the year 2000. In spite of that, this drama series holds its own character. Each crime and its connection to its main story will keep you at the edge of your seat. So if you love mystery and thriller, you will likely be entertained. Thus, Signal turned me into a couch potato for a brief period of time.
Some viewers may want an answer behind the supernatural device, sorry to say this but there's no definite answer to that question, no sound reasoning, groundless. So, its illogical to brood over that subject. But if you're still scratching or gripping your hair over it, then I suggest you create your own basis(mine was based on supernatural science, which is still considered unproven or dismissed by the science community).
Although this is a crime drama, it also leans towards fantasy. So, don't take it too seriously. Just enjoy the show. cheers!
(In my opinion) One of the most memorable slice of life series I've watched.
I felt the connection from every character. It reminded me of my university life, the many colors of every people I've met during those days, the triumphs of hard work, struggles, drama and so on.
Those who have read the webtoon might dislike this, but I decided to keep an open mind and enjoyed the series until the end. Yes, until the end. The ending expressed what most graduates will feel/felt the moment they close one chapter of their life. It's like the writer and director were conveying TS. Eliot's quote:
“What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.”
I am planning to watch it, but will they explain how the walkie talkie can connect them to the past??? because…
This series reminds me of the movie Frequency. But unlike that movie, the series has no obvious reason for the past and present to connect.
Or maybe they just want us to think and discuss how it can happen.
I have my own theory or rather idea, that's why I got to enjoy the series.
