He was very good in Romantic Doctor,Teacher Kim..The show probably got him this role in Mr.Sunshine
As expected, the writer created another exceptional screenplay. Despite all that controversy the drama managed to survive and continue to grab attention. Still, that won't even be possible if they didn't assert to choosing the right actors. :) Now, bring out the popcorn and let's watch tonight's episode without blinking for an hour. Cheers!
There are two stars here, one is Kim Tae Ri (Ae Shin), the other is Byun Yo Han (fiancé). They play with great…
They don't get along? IRL or the characters in the drama? They're very amicable on set or are you saying you have an inclination that their relationship in the drama won't end in good terms or probably end in tragedy?

He's a great actor and in fact quite versatile, so I know how good he can be. However, most of his past on-screen role (that I've seen) were typical or bland. The kind of role he has done before, or a role that was strong at one point, then becomes a doormat. In the end, most viewers won't even remember the character or the actor's name.
In this drama, he got the opportunity to do something fresh, peel off his skin and don a new one that made his character convincing. Dong Mae will be associated with the actor and vice versa.
He may not be Mr. Sunshine but he shines so perfectly as Dong Mae.
I had always overlook Yeon Seok's performance in some of the drama and movies I've seen over the years. The characters he played in the past were either too nice or bland for me to appreciate his presence. I feel a sense of relief that he was able to break from those and made the character Dong Mae his. I am not into the whole ship thing or biases, I just love the influence of this character. So, seeing that last preview saddens me deeply. I just hope it won't be Dong Mae's last.
I think people really should take bags off their eyes and see that it's NOT a crime for romance between such year…
(Some)Those in their salad days have difficulty comprehending age difference between characters, whether in real life or in a film. Past to present, such characters with age gap does exist. Only with maturity can makes sense of these special individuals.
They who have put aside relationship and placed family, duty or career first in their lives will challenge the social norm the moment they found their equal. They overlook the gap and chooses to see the iridescence or beauty of one's character.
Reproach exist because some do it to survive. But then again, there are cases where I would likely agree. If the age difference is like 50-60+ years, just like the late Hugh Hefner and his little bunnies. That I would reiterate is quite an age difference.
That 2nd episode was full of meh, okay, duh, err. A detective who's supposed to be a critical thinker and make sound decisions, easily accepted that his in the future? *sigh If I wasn't hook with the case I would likely skip this.
It's hasn't been that long since Joo Hyuk passed away. I still can't believe it and it's sad that he had left this world when his career is finally back on track.
We'll be adding this to watchlist. Miss you a lot, hyung!

And I can't seem to get over the "lovingly" banter between these 3 men.
Hui-song:
I love such useless things. Spring, flowers and the moon.
Can you slice a petal exactly in half?
Dong-mae:
I could cut you in half. Horizontally or vertically?
Hui-song: Why are you so cruel?
Can you shoot a falling petal?
Yu-jin: Before or after Gu Dong Mae slice it in half?
Hui-song: What a beautiful metaphor.

Build up of characters in the first episode was a bit confusing, I think I need to rewatch that later. For now, let's move on to episode 2.
