I tried it for one more time, but it's not leaving a strong impression nor satisfy my expectation.

Title The Guest
This was a satisfying investigative, horror/suspense thriller filled with subplots that build to the main storyline. I would have probably enjoyed it more if I didn't come across harabeoji's long narration. It faltered my enthusiasm towards the end. It should have been broken down or should have been left for the audience to deduce by themselves.

When you're enjoying a drama too much, you'll start to think it's running for 30 minutes only.

I had a great time watching it except for that cringy parts at the end. I love the characters and finally got to see Seung Yeon in a drama! I've seen her a lot in variety shows, but it still feels weird watching her since she looks and sounds so much like my friend from college days.

Okay... is there a next season?

I have put off the Japanese version for about a decade(?). Now I can't decide whether I should watch the Japanese version first or this one.

If you're looking for an exciting teen romance drama, then keep browsing and look for something else.
This drama exemplifies a life of many adults. Their romance starts like any relationship, exciting and romantic, to tiring or vexating. Their lives can be too repetitive or boring. It can either be too fast or too slow. There is no such thing as a perfect pace in this drama because, to me, it felt like it was meant to reflect someone's life in the real world. All their burden and sh*t that come along with it and the happiness which seems to feel like its always out of sight weighs heavily on my shoulder as if I am going through Jin Ah and Joon He's life.

Although their lives do not reflect my own, it feels relatable and authentic. Am I just being dramatic? I don't know. Maybe it's just a lingering feeling from my once fast pace life in the city.

Okay, that ended way too fast. It felt like the characters were still warming up to each other and then bye bye.

I get the spoiled brat scene on the highway but the surgery scene was, meh, over-the-top. Maybe, they wanted to add some spice that's totally out of the ordinary but if someone has a gut to go inside a surgery room, that would be a person who's likely mentally unstable or is under the influence of drugs.
But hey, this is Korea. Who knows, maybe there are rat ass spoiled brats like that IRL.

From all the dramas airing, I finally found another drama that suits my taste. It's not as exciting as my two favorite detective K-dramas but it's kind of worth watching.
But am not happy with their dumb moment at the end 8th episode.... *purses lips

I am weighing in between this movie.
The Korean actors were amazing. DO especially reminds me of Hollywood while Hye So's character felt refreshing yet fierce. The story does have something to tell but they missed something. The flawed screenplay didn't help this movie fly. The dance battle was out of place since there wasn't any more of that afterward. I really felt like there's a missing part, maybe a climax or that high energy that I got from the trailer. It's like trying to hit the high note but they keep missing it.

Hye So singing got me into the swing vibe. The final dance was great and that ending left me dumbfounded. For me, that was WOAH and WOW!

I want to say something but I am rather speechless. My life in the office is quite pleasant despite the overtime and the sudden weekend workload. But I can't help but feel reminiscent about my days chasing my own dream. Waah! I'm growing old.

Does this office setting really happen in a typical Korean company? I just cant believe that there are a lot of…
It's still the same in Korea. Women are still not being treated as equal. They still prefer men and the pay gap is still an issue. As for power abuse, yes, it happens too. But you will rarely find a Mr. Oh in a real setting. When you're not powerful enough to fight corruption, such abuse is quite hard to spot... unless someone slips.

On Romance Is a Bonus Book Mar 1, 2019
As this drama progresses, my attention was pivoted towards the publishing company. The setting is a vivid evocation of my love for books, the smell of old books in libraries and the freshly printed ones that excite the team... the team, the team that takes me back to those countless hours spent together in bringing a textbook to life.
Many viewers may simply overlook that part of the story, but those who are conscious will likely empathize with each character, the conditions of those who make a living out of their passion and the uncertainty that the industry faces. The drama kindles that warm fuzzy feeling but it also reminds me of the sad reality... *feeling melancholic

From Hwayi to this. Yes! Jin Goo really knows his stuff. He's so deym good at this dual role that I feel like I'm about to go crazy like the King.
