While Love sea is centered around romance, and barakamon slice of life, they are still pretty similar.
Both shows include a main character with a creative block, who unwillingly get sent to a small island by their managers. They hate the idea of living in a small town like that, but slowly start seeing the beauty of it. This gives them the inspiration they need in their writing/calligraphy. Thats why i recommend barakamon..!

This is the first season of this series. I think it should be in the recommended shows just because... man idk
