OMG! Choi Jin Hyuk's casting finally got confirmed! I'm totally in love with the whole cast ^^ But October is so far away. Ugh. For some reason the fact that Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye are the same age gives me butterflies. lol <3

No, I don't really know any Korean Indie bands. But I would love to get recommendations :) I love English music too. What all artists do you usually listen to?

It's not like MGIAG at all. But it's great! I can't really explain it's awesomeness without giving you spoilers. lol. But the couple is so cute and the humor is really good too (it has me cracking all the time). And the whole story just grips you! ^^

I haven't watched any anime. Although I have watched Shin Chan and (thanks to my little cousins) DORAEMON. I just don't whether they count as anime. lol. I'm watching Gu Family Book currently and I absolutely love it! ^^ So what anime are you watching currently? :)

I totally agree when you say they would improve if they write their own songs. I heard Gdragon writes his own songs but I'm scared that his company made that up to give him a certain image. I mean, you never know. That's the thing! I'm so distrustful over whatever they say in interviews and stuff and it's so scripted to me, I always feel everything they say has an agenda. They're not really trying to put themselves out there and we're not really getting to know the ACTUAL singer. Just an image his/her company believes would be good for him/her.

So, if you don't listen to kpop, do you listen to any music at all?

Ok, I don't really now if you'll start thinking she's no.1 (hehe) but I'm pretty sure you'll like her more after watching Gu Family Book :)

Ok I do love kpop and I don't think it's exactly age biased. I mean, we have Bollywood music here and young people are the ones most enthusiastic about it and older generation prefers old music. I think that's how it is in most countries.

But I sort of get where you're coming from. I've seen some of the interviews and the variety shows and everything feels very scripted and fake whenever idols talk and to me, they seem like puppets of their label companies. The don't even make their own music and simply sing whatever their companies instruct them to. I hate it when female singers try to act all cute. It's kinda fake and annoying, if you ask me. That's why I always listen to the music and refrain from watching interviews or joining fan groups of the idol groups. These things ruin kpop groups for me.

But regardless, I love the music. I don't even get what they're talking about (until I check the English translations of YouTube. haha) so it sort of diverts me towards the music and the voices. I think it's very creative and energetic and catchy, despite being controversial. There are some great voices out there.

What kind of serious issues are you talking about?

Actually I love Suzy. hehe. She just keeps getting prettier and prettier and her smile is so cute! I think you'll like her more if you watch her in Gu Family Book. Her acting has improved a lot since her Dream High days :)

I love Krystal! And I agree, Sulli isn't half as pretty as Krystal. Sulli is more like one of those typical cutesy Korean girls who act all innocent and talk like a 5 years old. I mean, it's cute at times but sometimes it's just too annoying and fake. Krystal has the punk! I like Dara from 2NE1 too :)

Obviously everything I've watched is through dramas. I love those little soju tents with noodles and meat (do you guys really eat intestines? WOW. I really want to try that). And the karaoke. And all the kpop concerts! And the hanboks are so pretty! And the saunas! And the cuisine looks amazing. And all the palaces! And the street food looks awesome. And tons of other things I can't remember right now. Haha.

Yeah, I know it's tough for foreigners to get jobs there. It's a pretty long shot, since I don't even know Korean. But I don't know, maybe there will be a chance. Right now I'm starting with college (English major most probably). And if I can't get a job there I'll just save up a lot of money and go for a looooong vacation there. lol

Anyways, do you really not like Kpop? Like, not even a bit?

HYOYEON IS NOT UGLY! OMG!! I can't believe someone said that to her! She's just not a typical, cute korean beauty. She's more on the hot and sexy side (if you know what I mean). And sooyoung is so pretty, I can't believe she would have to say that. I mean, she's just gorgeous. I love Yoona and everything but I feel that the small-face thing is a bit overrated.

Yeah I put a bunch of things on hold (Lee Soon Shin is the best, Itazura Na Kiss, Jang Ok Jung) and I'm only watching Gu Family Book right now. But I absolutely adore that series! :)

Wow, I just noticed you're from Korea. That's so cool. It's sort of my dream get a job and live there for a few years. The Korean culture is amazing.
