We are moving towards cinema that has a good story instead of a good actor. We like experimental cinema, but just like korean movies, we love movies that are emotionally charged and can move us. We love our music in movies. It might be dramatic, cheesy and unrealistic to some people but we love it.
Here we go with the Ryu Hwa Young haters again. I mean, I don't approve of what she did but it is really immature and petty to take it all out on a drama.
Can someone reccomend me a cdrama like this? This is the second cdrama I'm watching currently (the other one…
Boss and Me is also awesome. Also, Battle of Changsha and Eternal Love are AMAZING. Highly recommended! You can also try Loving never forgetting, although it's a little annoying. Haha :)
Okay, so how come Japanese celebrity couples always have a huuuge age gap? I've seen so many of them. If this the general thing in Japan? Just wondering.
I'm surprised ! Why 2020 and not 2017 ????? I need a answer! What's happening with this drama and…
It is not because of the ban. It was because she was too sick for a long time and had to cancel her participation in another drama too (some other actress literally replaced her midway). @arbios hallyu means Korean wave, which basically refers to Korean culture spreading to other countries, including kpop and kdramas :)
Okay, so first trolls rated Laurel Tree Tailor low because they hated Lee Dong Gun for breaking up with a singer from TARA. Then they rated Father is Strange low because of TARA bully controversy, and now they're rating this low because of hate on Park Shi Hoo. Like, can't people grow up and rate drama based on how good it is, instead of rating it based on what an actor is doing in his real life! This misguided rating really makes an otherwise good production suffer. And there are so many people in a drama, not just one. GROW UP PEOPLE.
People are criticizing the leads but problem was with the story all along and probably character narration. They needed a better script and deeper characterization. If they were going to bring the story into the modern world, they should have actually written a decent script. Otherwise, they should've stuck with the original story. I honestly found this a waste of an otherwise-pretty-decent cast.In fact, this was the first time I didn't find Nam Joo Hyuk's serious portrayal a bore. I love his fun-loving characters (Surplus princess, cheese in the trap, Weightlifting fairy) but whenever he does something serious (Moon lovers, school 2015), I always feel like he lacks in skills. I think he really improved his serious role acting.
