Nodame Cantabile and Fated To Love You have killer original versions. It is impossible to surpass them. Meteor Garden is great if you can overcome old-school feel of the show. But the rest of versions are great too. Playful Kiss - the Taiwanese version is the best but the latest Japanese version is great too.

PS - OMG Winter Sonata is going to be remade? HELL YEAH!
