It's just what some people prefer. My ratings fluctuate every week. It's not really misleading because we are rating based on what we have watched so far and we will be watching till the end so the final rating would still be there.

Article Descendants of the Sun – Over-hyped or Well-deserved?
Even if the drama is over-hyped, it is still one of the best dramas this year so far, backed by some great performances, chemistry and dialogue. The writer is known for taking cliche plots and cliche situations and making them amazing with her refreshing and funny dialogues and swoon-worthy lead pair scenes.

Agreed that the first two eps were great. They were fast paced and made you look forward to next week. And everyone acted well.
