I have very conflicted thoughts about this drama. On one hand, I felt the story was pointless and horrible. Even the acting was just average, even though I love Jung Yong Hwa and Park Shin Hye. On the other hand, it was great to see Go Mi Nam and Shin Woo as a pair because (even though I love Hwang Tae Kyung)it was heartbreaking to watch Shin woo lose out in the love pentagon. A drama in which he actually got Go Mi Nam! No You're beautiful fan would dare skip it.

Another plus point was it's music. It's been over a year since I watched this drama and I'm still in love with the entire OST. 'Because I miss You' is like my favorite Korean dram OST of all time. These things kept me going and that's actually the reason I'm giving this drama a 7 instead of a 6 or a 5. Because of it's awesome star value and music. Those who look for nice content and intriguing storyline should skip this one.

I must say I liked Rain much better in this drama than Full House (the only other Rain-Drama I have watched). His character was really impressive and kind of reminded me of So Ji Sub in I'm Sorry I Love You. And now that I think about it, I've never seen Shin Min Ah in a normal role before. She's either a ghost or a gumiho and haven't watched any of her movies. I loved her in this too! Her character was weak at times but mostly it was too cute for words. Shin Min Ah has this style that leaves everyone adoring her. I loved everyone's acting, especially Bok Gu's hyung. He was so good at what he did.

The only slump for me was the plot. It was a great plot, beautiful and touching. But the end was..ridiculous. It was stupid. I didn't even cry. All I was thinking was "Are you kidding me?". If that's the kind of end they were supposed to have, why go through so much hassle? I was real disappointed with the end. But overall the plot was good. I might've given this drama a 9 if they had a different ending. I'm not even asking for a happy ending exactly. Just something that makes more sense.

The OST was really good and powerful. The kind that attracts you with it's beautiful voices, not the catchy music. It was great and I want it on my phone!

Overall I feel people should give this drama a try. It's a little underrated here on MDL.

I almost gave up on this drama after episode 1 because, honestly, everything from acting to dialogues to the story bored me to death. But thank the Lords I continued to watch. This drama had so much more to offer than I had ever expected. The plot finally began to shape up after 2-3 eps. Siwon's acting improved drastically and I actually laughed at a few parts. Especially that one part where the Ajjumma started singing to make Siwon laugh (if someone knows the song please tell me! haha).

Overall, I got a really warm, fuzzy feeling out of this drama. And not because of the romance but because of these cute, little family reunions which really get me every time.

Will definitely watch it again. For Ye Eun (:

I tried to watch it thrice last year but gave up each time due to bad picture quality. Finally found a decent print on YouTube and I swear I was glued! :) Everything about this drama was perfect - A beautiful story of love and fate. And the fact that it was hilarious - icing to the cake. Hehe. Xin Yi kept getting more and more pretty with each episode. I really liked her character and the transformations she went through throughout the drama.

Cun Xi was pretty annoying in the beginning. I mean, obviously his heart was at the right place more or less. But when he asked her to leave after giving birth I wanted to slap him! I mean, how can a mother (especially someone as gentle as Xin Yi) give up her baby without dying a little each second? I liked his character more after ep 12. As for Dylan, I really really really liked him in the beginning. But after they left for Shanghai (ep 12?) - Bleh. He just got annoying. EPISODE 12 T-T It was so sad! I dare you to watch it without crying! Seriously! EPISODE 12. The reason I still can't get myself to like Anna. I'm sorry.Generally I do believe in giving second chances to evil characters ( I DO I DO XD). But what she did pissed me too much. So even if the whole world is ready to accept her reasons for what she did (including Cun Xi and Xin Yi)- I CANNOT.

So, basically, Xin Yi and Cun Xi end up sleeping together because she thinks he's her cheating boyfriend and he thinks she's Anna. Now I know it sounds kinda ridiculous but he's so horny (long story) and she's so dizzy and it's dark. So yeah...after they're done he's like "Gu Chi?" and she's like, "Who's Anna?" and then lights on and TA-DA! BAHAHAHAHA XD XD

On top of everything she becomes pregnant with his child while he's still in love with Anna who (in short) is a selfish Beeaach. They decide to keep the baby and not get it aborted while the supercool grandma somehow manages to get them married. And then Cun Xi drops the bomband tells her to leave after giving birth and that Anna could be the mom to the child -.- But they keep getting closer and closer and now Cun Xi becomes conflicted about his feelings. Then comes ep 12. Honestly, I never expected the story to turn out this way. It really surpassed my expectations. Really nice story.

This is pretty old movie and maybe not everyone's cup of tea. I have mixed feelings about it. The story was pretty good and the movie surely made me laugh a lot. Whether it was the Joker's funny tactics or the-lady-with-the-tattoo's immense bullying, it was funny. The only problem for me were the special-effects. They were really ugly but you can't really do anything about it because the movie is old and there wasn't too much progress in the special-effects scene back when this movie came it. Apart from that it was nice one-time watch. Not for those looking for romance though..

After watching this drama, I can safely say that I'm an official sucker for friends-falling-in-love dramas. Firstly it happened to me while watching Reply 1997 and In Time With You, and now 9 End 2 outs. This drama is super sweet and super cute and soo funny! 30 years old best friends become room-mates and eventually realize how perfect they are for each other.

The story is not that new. But yet it's great. The relationship between the two main characters would leave you envious. They're just so sweet to each other and so caring and they don't even realize it. Another plus point is that this story has a touch of realism. You can see how while living together these two people start behaving like a old married couple and how they learn new things about each other (one of them even making a list about it!) and both of them end up wondering "Why the hell am I not with this man/woman already? What have I been doing all my life??" lol.

The cast and acting is great. This drama has various characters and all of them are awesome. Jung Joo is so funny and cute! The bickering between him and Hyung Tae were so entertaining XD And Yoona's debut as an actor (only learned that an hour ago). She was pretty good even though her role was semi-bitchy. I loved all the friends of Hyung Tae and Nan Hee.

The chemistry between the two main leads is really really good. I'm really going to watch again sometime because I loved how they were with each other. They had this perfect balance of love and friendship. The music was great! I'm going to download the OST now :)

The most quotable drama so far. So, the landlady tells her four hot tenants to turn her niece into a lady and, in exchange, she would let them stay at the boarding house for free. Kyohei, who has had a troubled and violent life and just lost his job due to his drop-dead georgeous looks, jumps at the opportunity.
Enter Sunako - Her bangs reach her mouth, she wears a cloak, sleeps in a coffin, has a science lab mannequin as her best friend, shrieks with joy at the sight of skulls, blood and medieval killing weapons, and whenever she makes eye contact with a person shouts "Briiiiight" and bangs her head over them (mostly Kyohei though).
I love the ending of every episode where Kyohei goes all "ugly Sunako Ugly Sunako Ugly Sunako Ugly Sunako" which makes her enraged and they always end up in a physical fight! :D And I'm glad that, unlike a typical drama, the lead girl didn't have a complete makeover and changed her personality all together. Instead Kyohei fell in love with the Horror girl itself (: And, that the other guys did not fall in love with her. Instead they helped Kyohei realize his feelings.

"What is a Lady? When a woman falls in love with the best man in the world, she becomes a lady."
-Sunako's aunt aka the landlady

I think this is the first k-drama I have watched that isn't based in Seoul. Even though it's quite political, this drama is really funny and really romantic! Shin Mi Rae is extremely gross in the beginning. I don't think she even combed her hair until she became the mayor x) And top of that, she's such a narcissist! And even though it had a really boring start (I barely made it through the first episode; took me like a week; watched Japanese dramas and BOF in between), it picked up really well halfway through and the ending was just awesome! I love their chemistry. The lead pair, I mean. Council woman and manager Lee are cute too. The Plastered-smile fiancee is scary and emotionless. The Assistant is HOT (Procecutor Daddy Long Legs from City Hunter)! The directors are lame. Her friends are awesome! (: Ji Gook's mom is surprisingly nice. His dad is a jerk. His adopted son is sooo cute. Ji Gook is adorably jealous. Haha. And the time he compared his text to manager Lee's. So cute! x) But seriously, why are all of Kim Sun ah's dramas named after Al Pacino's movies? First 'Scent Of A Woman' and now 'City Hall' :P

This drama had a really good cast. Jang Geun Suk and IU are one of the best actors on the k-drama scene. But even they couldn't save this plot. I liked the jokes and there were some funny moments. But the plot was just AWKWARD for me. The lead characters sucked. I mean, the guy seduces so many women and I don't understand what the hell he learned. I can't believe people are comparing this drama to Marry Me Mary. I love that drama and it was too sweet to be compared to this one. Coming to IU, fine, fine actress. But the character? UGH. Her character wasn't just immature. It was plain stupid. From the very damn beginning. The lead couple didn't even spend any time together and there was so little chemistry. Ma Te was always busy seducing another woman. And then they're together. JUST WOW. And don't even get me started on Yoo Ra. She was so CREEPY!

Even though haven't watched many Korean movies, I can confidently say Sunny is one of the best ones out there. I loved it just as much as "A Moment To Remember" and "My Sassy Girl" which are my all-time favorite by far. But the reasons for loving this are entirely different.

This movie is not about epic romances but rather about those timeless memories we made and continue to make with our friends. When I think about it, I feel friendship is a relationship in its purest form. Their is no blood involved. There is no give-and-take. You can just be yourself around your friends and along the way learn a thing or two from them. I think friends are what make this journey of life truly worthy and fun.

Loved the plot. Loved the characters and acting. Especially Kang So Ra. While watching Dream High 2 I was wondering why everyone was so obsessed with her. Now I know! She's great in this movie. But then again, so is the rest of the cast. Loved the witty dialogues. The writer surely has a really great sense of humor XD Loved the ending. I was laughing and crying all at once.

Will watch it again for sure!

It's been a while since I picked up a drama that has already finished airing and it took me exactly 3 days to finish Bride of The Century. At surface it appeared to be a ghost drama and in that area it surely didn't fail. But there was a cute romance and a lot of shocking revelations throughout that made the plot even better. Everybody had agendas and everybody was hiding something or the other. There is a curse in the family but you see various people taking advantage of it in their own way. And yet, you find the lead couple, being sweet and completely unaware of the typical mother-in-law schemes.

The actors were pretty decent. The lead actress did a great job portraying a double-role. It was pretty awkward seeing the sweet old Jeremy portraying the cold-hearted chaebol. I'm not saying he did a bad job, I loved him in this drama. It's just that some characters just stay with you forever and Jeremy is one of them. So it took a little time getting used to Lee Hong Ki playing this type of a character. The second leads and supporting characters were great. Especially Doo Rim's grandma. She was awesome! I loved Jin Joo and Secretary Kim's little side-story.

The music was good. There is this one song I can't get out of my head. It seems like Lee Hong Ki sung it but I'm not sure yet. I'm going to download it tonight. I might rewatch the cute scenes but there won't be any suspense and mystery the second time around.

I think it is one of the few dramas that left an impact on me in a rather-dull 2014. It's a cute romantic-comedy and then it's so much more.

This drama has been on my mind for a while now. And finally watched it! And that too on Christmas (if you know what I mean). Mary (or Wi Mae Ri) looks like a middle-school girl. Adorable. :) And JGS is a skinny musician with shoulders like a girl. A HOT skinny girly-shoulders musician. And really, he just simply inspires me to shampoo and condition my hair xD And he looks like Jesus in this drama! Ahahaha. She's Mary and he's like Jesus. Lol. And he smiles a lot. But I didn't choke on my popcorn or anything this time :P
In Jung (the guy from Coffee prince; secondary) is really, really sweet.

Parents - super annoying (what else?)

So yeah, Moo Gyul and Mary fake a marriage so that her dad doesn't marry her off to a total wealthy stranger. Dad is one step ahead. He forges her signatures and makes In Jung her lawful husband (who doesn't care as long his dad sponsers his drama in exchange :P).

And then comes the super-awkward moment where she catches her fake husband in bed with her real husband (surprising not dwelled upon). Hahahahaha.

[Special credits to JGS's laugh. It's like he trembles and laughs with his head down, shaking his shoulders and suddenly looks up and gives the most serious look in the world. HILARIOUS.]

LOL @ Mae Ri's look when she's begging Moo Gyul to let her borrow his name for 100 days (long story). As he said, it's like the cat from Shrek! :D

After a rather-dull 2014, I must say 2015 kicked off with a loud bang. With dramas like Pinocchio and Healer concluding in the first two months, setting solid standards, it was rather difficult to surpass them. But Kill Me Heal Me did exactly that. I wouldn't say it exactly 'surpassed' them. More like it carried on their legacy. In short, Kill Me Heal Me was amazing.

When I read the synopsis I seriously had no idea what to expect from this drama. An actor playing seven different personalities sounded like a really messy idea to me but at the same time I was really curious about how they'll pull it off. But once I started this drama, there was no looking back. The story just plunges you in, in the very first episode. Every character, every personality is just so wonderfully played. And at the centre of them all is Ji Sung. What a fabulous actor! He played all seven personalities with such conviction and so individualistically. Such a powerful performance, I have no words. Shin Se Gi, Perry Park, Ahn Yo Na, Ahn Yo Sub, they were all such awesome characters. My favorite was definitely Yo Na (I've replayed her scenes so many times but they're still so funny! Never a dull moment with her) but Shin Se Gi comes very close too (who doesn't love a sincere and protective bad boy?). Oh Ri Jin was equally awesome! She was so cute and not one-bit annoying. I love the actress! The rest of the cast was awesome, except for the cousin and his fiancee. They were annoying and unnecessary. But I guess it doesn't hurt to have a couple of characters to hate in a drama.

I think another bonus in this drama was the humor. I mean, seriously, every episode was hilarious. So basically I was either laughing my ass off or crying with all my guts. And that's the best recipe for a great drama. It was beautiful.

As for the OST, it definitely ranks on my top-15 OST of all time (if not top 10). Auditory Hallucination is like my drama-song of the year already. It's so catchy and the lyrics are so meaningful. I could probably write an entire review gushing about the song. The rest of the songs are beautiful too. I love Unspeakable Secret and Violet (by Ji Sung!).

Overall this drama is a masterpiece (the current rank says it all - #4!) and a must-watch for Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum fans. Especially the ones who loved them together in Secret. Even though the two dramas are extremely different in tone and theme, the chemistry between the two actors is equally good in both. And for those who haven't watched Secret before this, watch this and then go check out Secret! You won't regret watching either.

Even though it's gross, this drama is extremely informative. Surprisingly my favorite here is Park Min Young. I think this is her best performance so far. I mean, I liked her in City Hunter too but mostly I was all, "LOOK IT'S LEE MIN HO! IT'S LEE MIN HO!! *__*" So yeah. I simply loved her character here. In the beginning I found Jaejoong's role pretty stiff but I loved the direction in which his character developed. As for Dr Jin, Of course he's awesome! Loved all side characters - the psychic gisaeng, that guy who's in every freaking drama, and the future king and the future king's dad. Of course the evil guy from Moon Embracing The Sun was there. Hated his character equally here. Overall, an amazing drama which makes me want to pursue medicine. But too late for that. lol.

Moo Hak, my love

I love everything about this drama. EVERYTHING. So I decided to write a quick review capturing my everlasting feelings for this drama. Pardon my spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings ahead.

This drama sweeps you off your feet and runs away with you as soon as you begin watching. We're introduced to our much adorable leads and there's something about them that yells "Hey there! Meet your new favorite characters" and eventually that is exactly what they become. Moo Hak is one of my favorite male leads of all time. He is the fruit of the recent transition the Korean drama male leads have been making from toxic jerks to sweet dependable leads these past few years. He's so sweet and so dependable. He's so likeable and so so sooo funny. There are so many scenes where I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe thanks to this guy. I was crying a few times thanks to his infinitely best boy personality too.

Dali is one of my favorite female leads too. I love her, dare I say, almost as much as I love Moo Hak. She is smart, wise and she takes initiative in a relationship. She doesn't raise her voice but when it comes down to it, she's not a pushover; she's far from it. I love her dignified composure. Each time I watch Park Gyu Young, my respect for her amplifies because she's such a versatile actress. All her characters have unique color and you can tell them apart. It's almost as if it's a new person altogether. She impresses me as much as Shin Hye Sun (Mr Queen).

More than anything, I just love them as a couple. If they were a real-life couple, they would be my favorite real-life power couple. There are no misunderstandings, no miscommunication, no useless breakups. He knows exactly what to say. He's a character written with outmost perfection for a woman of today's times. Guys, if you want to learn how to treat your woman, go watch this drama lol.

As a romantic comedy, even if there are cliché tropes, they are written with such a refreshing take, the whole drama is a breath of fresh air. They fulfill all your fantasy scenarios for the main couple, but do so in the most non-toxic way possible and at the same time keep things entertaining. It is rare to find this balance in romantic comedies. The last time I found such a balanced drama was probably Marriage not Dating.

The supporting cast wasn't all likeable at all times, I must admit. But there were some very likeable characters like Assistant Yeo and Uri Won Tak Shi. These two were absolute gems. Rest were really testing characters. But overall, definitely all stellar performances, by a veteran cast that understood the assignment.

Also, I have to have to mention the music. Literally every song on the soundtrack is addictive. I can't even pick a favorite song because they're all my favorites T-T

I'll go watch it again in a year or so (or a day; maybe I'm already rewatching). I'm so ready. Also looking for my next victim to force this drama on (my friends are so lucky to have me^^). If you're confused about whether to watch this drama or not, here's your sign to watch it right now.
