There was never an official English title for the drama to begin with. The Great Craftsman was the literal translation of the old Chinese title 巨匠. But the NRTA changed the Chinese title to 筑梦情缘. However, this title does not translate as well into English, and it's very easy to translate it into different ways, which would cause a lot of confusion. So they are keeping it as the pinyin, so that it's more uniform/universal around the internet.
