I’ve been wondering about this and wanted other insights. Does the love flower poison only affect ML because only he realizes that they are in love? Xiao Ran seems to care for him subconsciously, but in the flashback scene where he asks if it’s okay that they never see each other again - she says you can remove the poison when you ascend to godhood.. which almost feels like she’s just being practical about the situation and hasn’t full realized her feelings. Or maybe I completely missed something in translation?

First of all I absolutely loved this. I think I absolutely loved ML’s brand of comedic humor, blasé attitude when people mocked him and his absolute confidence in himself. Pan LuYu did a fantastic job in this role imo.

The ending is pretty open ended, while ML doesn’t explicitly forgive her, he chooses to share the blame and punishment.

This drama has it all (and not in a good way) Xianxia, green tea evil 2ML, multiple rebirths/reincarnation and clueless brain dead FL who makes you want to rip your hair out. Save yourself some time and skip this. Comment on ending as a spoiler below.
