On My Brilliant Life Feb 6, 2015
To be honest, I promised myself a few months ago not to watch any more sad movies or dramas. I cry uncontrollably during them and it simply makes me depressed afterwards. However, if I didn't break this promise of mine today... I would have never seen this amazing movie. I came upon it purely by chance. I wasn't even looking for something to watch. But I saw some gifs on tumblr and thought 'Ahh, I've been feeling down for a few days now.. Why don't I give myself a reason to cry it all out.' And this movie didn't disappoint me. I never stopped crying during it, though I laughed a little here and there. But I definitely don't regret watching this movie. It was really sad, but really beautiful, too.

Title Cruel City Spoiler
This drama was honestly amazing. It never got boring which is really rare for a drama. And the ending.. well the last 2 episodes were really heartbreaking, but, in my opinion, it just had to happen. Lots of people died and i cried a lot, but i couldnt really imagine them getting a happy ending either. And about Shihyun.. well even though i read that he didnt really die, that he got a new beginning somewhere else and all that.. but i think the writer did well by making the ending an open one. I honestly think that Shihyun had to die, i think that would have been a happy ending for him. Im sorry if i sound cruel, but he went through hella lot. I dont think he could ever forget such betrayal and all those deaths.. its a lot to live with. It would have been easier for him to just die. But well.. im still a little happy that he didnt actually die. :D at least in the original script.
