I didn't shed a single tear for any of the other episodes but there's just something about animals that gets me emotional every single damn time, especially dogs (this whole episode kinda reminded me of a movie called a dogs purpose)
This isn't a spoiler since it shows their names in the cast section (the young actors that play that newlywed couple) but I just wanna let yall know that PJG is GR's past lover.
I gotta say that I really wasn't expecting ep 6 to hit hard the way it did even with the mixed feelings I have about this show, oh well I guess I gotta see how the rest of Tomorrow plays out.
It seems here that the writers of the show only care about pretty faces instead of actually making the grim reapers have sympathy and empathy towards humans, yelling at them and telling them to move on from their trauma isn't going to work. It would be nice if it showed them taking the proper steps they need in order to heal which is seeing therapist and psychiatrist. If Tomorrow is all about saving humans from the brink of death, why isn't there anything else being shown about mental heath?
Also CJW's character is annoying, he gets in the way of everything and tries to fix the past when he knows he's not suppose to do that. Definitely not a great way to contrast comedic relief with edgy grim reapers.
What doesn't make sense to me is that why do they change some of the reapers positions in the underworld. Shouldn't they stick with the team that they are meant to be in from the moment they enter the underworld? Why assign GR and IRG to a job they can't do properly?
Unpopular opinion but I think the show would have been better if NHD and GYR were still enemies/rivals, it feels off seeing how they're buddies now and it makes it all less exciting. I also don't like how the writers gave them an anonymous online friendship with the cliche "wow I didn't know it was this bitch that I was talking to this whole time, guess I just have to befriend her now that she knows my vulnerable side"
I hate how GYR's character acts all nice and innocent with the people she likes but acted like a total bitch with NHD for no reason without even getting to know her first. I'm not sure if her being poor means us watchers are supposed to pity her or what????? After so many episodes of showing her bitchy behavior and causing a scene that made many people against NHD saying she didn't deserve the gold medal, we're supposed to like her now??????
So yes, I think they would have been better off not being friends because then that would leave them more time to grow with their fencing skills.
More like it's a flop because Jisoo was cast. She started decent but then was reduced to a crying flowerpot. Almost…
Bro this has nothing to do with being a hater, they chose Jisoo so randomly for this drama. As a rookie you would think she would have more emotions, but the writers made her character to be a weak damsel in distress who cries like half the time.
I got a better analogy that describes how the writers came up with this show. It's almost like they watched money heist and crash landing on you and decided to try to make it seem as if the two main leads were actually going to have many interactions, from what the posters and teasers seemed to show.
Nope, they just threw in politics and added those unnecessary filler scenes with the rich housewife's 50 percent of the time just to keep the show going because clearly the writers seemed to not really have an original idea of how this show was going to end.
I feel like this would have been a flop if it weren't for Jisoo being casted a role here.
I feel like the writers of this show watched money heist and thought it was a good idea of having a whole hostage situation plot drag on for many episodes. There wasn't even that much of an emotional connection between the main "couple" that would made this dude sacrifice his life a few times just to see her and protect her.
This review is exactly what I had in mind throughout watching each episode.
It really blows my mind how these watchers really do what they can to defend these poorly written fictional characters, it’s crazy how they don’t see any flaws at all.
I really had high hopes for this drama until NJ and JW’s characters were introduced, they both ruined the show for me. Even CW’s manager friend ruined it for me because of how he didn’t really give CW personal space and with his weird clinginess.
YS’s issues shouldn't have excused her harsh words and actions towards CW and somehow there are idiots still defending that bitch. The writers didn’t even bother to write YS finally opening up to CW about why she broke up with him, they just left it up to CW to figure it out himself.
This is my ranking of OBS’s characters from bad to really shitty written characters.
1. JCR (JW’s assistant seemed very bland with no personality, just had a weird crush on this man knowing she wouldn’t score with him)
2. KEH
3. JW and NJ (can’t decide which one is worse)
4. YS
I honestly felt bad for CW and his idiotic actions with wanting YS back which is why he isn’t ranked, id say he’s the most realistic character there is, my boy really deserved better.
For me this ending is not realistic at all. Its completely fictional. During those first five years they are not…
Yea their situation never really made sense to me, it's strange they never contacted each other within those five years. Like come on, they could have met up a few times after their breakup to discuss what actually went wrong in their relationship. It's unfair that CW was the only one who broke down crying later on after revealing his unsaid feelings towards YS, the writers didn't even bother making her tell CW why she wanted to break up with him, it was like a "well I guess you just gotta figure it out yourself" kinda way. This bitch literally could have communicated her feelings and be like "hey, im going through a terrible time in my life right now and I think we need space from each other until things get resolved" or said something like "hey, im going through a terrible time in my life right now and I really need you doing this time"
Instead, she immaturely just walked away without giving any explanation. I had hoped that the writers could have let her tell her side of the story but now im left with thinking how much of a bitch she is.
Her issues don't give her the right to be immature with her words and actions, im just shook how many people are actually defending YS, NJ with her behavior after CW decided to get back with YS, and JW with his emotionally obsessive behavior for 10 years that the writers decided to give him for no reason (could be because of his mommy issues but that's a dumb reason).
You know I don't understand why the writers mad JW depressed for so long, he should have been going to therapy and working on himself to live a healthier life. I don't understand why he always has to put up with his moms bullshit knowing she comes and goes each time, she never gave him love and emotionally neglected him so she deserves to be kicked out for making his life hell. This bitch now comes back again and tells JW she's dying and expects him to have sympathy for her???? Bitch you don't deserve a room in his own honey.
Dude you are only making yourself more miserable by not getting yourself help and turning your life around, also the writers need to stop making JW emotionally obsessed with YS and we know he's so attached to her because of his issues with his mom. They really didn't need to add an unnecessary love triangle, so now we are left with no character development until the last episode where what could happen is suddenly see how he's finding hope in life and somehow bonding with his mother until she dies and her apologizing for not giving him love as her last words.
In my opinion, this show went downhill after episode 9 and it only got worse from there. - The writers keep making…
Another thing I like to add is why did they forget about the whole "why did we actually break up" thing for like the past 1-2 episodes and just now talk about it. CW poured his heart out to YS and yet she didn't open up equally to him either, she just cried and got back together with him. That whole break up question was supposed to be asked during CW's vulnerable scene or the writers could have at least made YS finally open up about her insecurities to him before all of the extra lovey dovey stuff later on.
In my opinion, this show went downhill after episode 9 and it only got worse from there.
- The writers keep making JW's character obsessive with YS for some reason. It was literally just a high school crush, there wasn't anything special or interesting about YS that got him to like her for over 10 years which means the main problem has to do with his own attachment issues because of his absent mother. They shouldn't have made an unnecessary love triangle in the first place; his issues and growth should have been shown in a different way that doesn't make him obsessive over his friends girl. This dude needs therapy.
- I saw a comment that mentioned that NJ seems like she doesn't belong in this drama which makes a lot of sense, the writers randomly added another annoying character for no reason. Every celebrity deals with hate comments, it doesn't really make her special and fitting as a role in this drama. This is supposed to be a show about growth, change, and learning how to open up in a relationship between two people, by adding those two extra factors it ruins what the show is really supposed to be about.
That shit doesn't really happen irl, this drama failed at showing realism in relationships.
Ugh I don't understand why the writer had to put an unnecessary love triangle and another love triangle, whatever…
Oh and one more thing, JW just because she's your mother doesn't mean that you have to let your mother come and go to your home as she pleases. Just kick her out of your life completely.
I gotta say that I really wasn't expecting ep 6 to hit hard the way it did even with the mixed feelings I have about this show, oh well I guess I gotta see how the rest of Tomorrow plays out.

Bruh.

So much for making this show realistic.
-_-
