I think there is chemistry between the main leads(I'm not a crazy fan of previous works nor am i too familiar with them to be blinded by adoration or hate), however there's way too much side stories about other characters going on, spanning several episodes. I'd be watching and then suddenly realise "when last did Fei and Xie Yun get time together? this side story has been going on for 5 episodes, when does it end?" .. their scenes together is like a drop in the ocean, and then some random character starts shedding light on their own story. I signed up just to say this haha.
