Thanks very much indeed for your lengthy response and the time you have invested in articulating your thoughts on the matter. All I knew about their divorce was that it was messy and my only opinion on it had been 'don't marry someone from the office that you see everyday'. I can't help thinking though that the sorry episode says something negative - again - about Korean moralisers and people with too much time on their hands (like us?)...
I completely agree with you regarding The Glory. In hindsight, and I know I'm imagining it, her superb acting seems to have been directed against her critics.
As for Song Joong-ki - as you say, we'll never know. How much was he responsible, more than his managers and PR ? Was he was just doing what he was told. Only people behind the scenes know what went down.

What's wrong with Song Joong Ki or the character played by him ?

Pretty good. Always great to see Kim Ji Won and (a pre-Glory) Song Hye Kyo. The latter's great chemistry with Song Joong Ki was obvious. The drama was marred, in my opinion, by the constantly childish crying of the character played by Onew. Or rather, the character itself was a waste of time.

Definite TLTR 'synopsis'. MDL is bad anyway to get a plot summary, but this one is one of the worst.

Got to admit, didn't understand her regret or suicidal impulse. I assume the kid on the train at the end was the son in the form of a child.

However, the grandmother ie Bai Li's mother, deletes the service as she couldn't get closure. Possibly, her eventual rejection of the service was age-related.

I enjoyed this. Both the lead characters knew what they wanted (to a degree) and stuck with it. They were true to themselves. A good movie without the usual formulaic cliches.

Interesting black comedy.

On the whole, a continuation of Gyun Woo's (mis)adventures is not as interesting as what they could have done with a sequel featuring Jun Ji Hyun only. Besides, he didn't deserve her as in he was just there when she needed someone like him, so I saw the ending of the original movie as a friendship thing. Therefore, the premise of this second movie is plausible although I undestand why some commentators are outraged at its existence.

There are some strange bits in this movie eg what was the reference to a crying baby all about.

"Fall In !" is a loud expression given to cadets to get into a line.

The most nonsensical synopsis I've ever read on this site (which normally over-explains). "Two twin women" ? Does that mean four women ??

Labelled as a 'comedy' (see genre above in summary) - it isn't. Soo Jung's errors of judgement are the most striking thing about the story/stories.
