It is base on the Novel. Not a 100% live the novel but I'd say around 80%, which is great for an adaptation.

overall it was pretty good drama but not a good adaptation. Definitely a good casting but I missed Ji Hyuk stepmom character and the webtoon version of grandfather and mr. lee, although mr. lee in the drama was great too

I rewatched it immediately when it come to Netflix. It's fantastic!
