the author said her story was inspired by build and that he was the only actor she wanted for one of the main roles. the production company recently posted a statement saying he won't be a part of it. tbh it threw me off to learn that he was the #1 choice as i highly dislike him... ill probably still support the drama once its released but we'll see!

mostly agree, i think babe said this because while way did do some horrible shit, he was still his best friend for a whole decade.. as viewers we would never forgive way, but i understand babe. he's been with him for so long and he really was everything to him, we know how much he meant to babe, and it's hard to stop loving someone who was once so important. especially when he's literally dying in his arms, that was a super vulnerable moment for babe, i can totally get why he would say what he said. he still lost a big part of him.
