I agree. Both the MLs are doing the heavy lifting in this series. And the way the FL speaks her lines... Is it just me or does she always pause within a sentence? Its like there are commas in her lines. I am also watching Hide with Lee Bo Young and she doesn't talk that way.... Wonder if the casting was different, would I be more inclined to continue it?
for her first drama, jang da A really nailed it as the psycho villain. While the drama was nothing exceptional, I still enjoyed it. Ye Rim was really pretty. And the tomboy was actually very good looking LOL. She definitely could pass as a boy

I'm also contemplating dropping this. Loved the ML in the Queen's Umbrella and was looking forward to seeing him play the lead. But, I'm not quite feeling the chemistry withe the FL. Also, must be because of the character he portrays, but his acting is a bit over the top for me. Still. in ep 5 and not sure if I'll be moving forward with the rest
jo jung suk is such an amazing actor. Didn't expect him to portray this role so well. Have only ever seen his work via Hospital Playlist but in Captivating the King he definitely shines.
Wondering if I am a glutton for punishment if I still keep watching this despite the poor acting and poor dialogue. I honestly don't know what was running through the minds of these actors and actresses when they were presented the script. Hypnotized?? probably LOL.... Because something about it makes me want to see where this story is leading to.
