Hi! About a part that keeps bugging me is, when Thyme helped Gorya from the bullies and when they cried together there. No offense, I just didn't find it convinced me enough, about the acting performance. With so much respect, I never want to bring someone down or hating on the team who has worked hard on this, but I just can't feel the certain emotions which I think should be there and being strongly shown to convince the audiences that FL and ML already fell in love with each other. Peace! Hehe.

Hi! Thanks for replying me. Actually I understand why people like symbolism and metaphor, I do like them but for me (this is too personal, I must add) that the team focus so much on details until I can't get something important, like the close up of shoot of Thyme's eyes. This might differ from one another like I have different view on this from you, but Domyouji Tsukasa portrayed by Matsumoto Jun is so iconic because of this (of course this is just my personal opinion). Because I can see him, his struggles, his emotions through his eyes. No offense, I appreciated Bright's acting and he's good, but for me personally, at some really important scenes, I just can't see the right emotions from his eyes-of course this is personal too. Peace! And I believe, he'll improve more in the future. And, for Gorya, I don't have much words for her acting because she nailed it every scenes, I must say. And, about your comment above, I must say that what I want to point out it's not the plot of ep5 because it's well written actually, it's on the emotions portrayed by the actor that didn't satisfy me. Thanks!^^

I know I might get rationed for this, but I never get the hype of the "symbolism" other people rave about in F4…
Hi! Just want to jump into the discussion, thanks in advance.

Well, I must admit it, I kinda agree with you. I like symbolism, and metaphor, but in this case, in my opinion, it becomes too much until I can't see the back bone of this franchise, the chemistry. I'm not hating on this show, nor want to despise the hardwork the team has put but, for me, the way they didn't show us much of the main leads deep conversations and the way they execute it kinda, underwhelming and make it like it was just like a filler scene while actually, it supposed to be the moment that should be the most greates chapter in HYD story. Of course it depends on the liking but, if people ask me why I have this opinion, I'd answer with the part when Thyme helped Gorya from the bullies in ep 5. It should be the scene where I can go back to watch since it was really an important one but, the execution kinda didn't satisfy my expectation at all. They failed to bring me the feels of strong connection between main leads and how hard the ML already fell for FL. And sadly (this is the shallow part of me that people might criticize me for not giving a chance, I'm sorry), that one part alone makes me want to drop this show, except some good parts which the acting and music blend well, that makes the flow feels smooth.

And, sorry to say this, not that I want to hate on the actors, but I don't know because of the directional issue or because of something else, Bright's acting and his expressions kinda unreadable for simple-minded person like me, in some important scenes, that makes me wonder where the connection between thyme and gorya that should be shown strongly? But, in some other scenes he's good, that's why I think it's more because of directional issue. And, the BGM. I really want to give a critic to the editing team, especially on the last 3 episodes. Because some scenes kinda feel like filler for me because of the unmatched BGM, and the not-so-right timing to use certain BGM.

I just really hope the best for the team and the casts. And I just hope, they'll grow more as actors, since the writing of this version is good actually, just some directional issue and acting skills that I must say, kinda don't satisfy me like the first two episodes that I love. Thankyou.
