ia, it was not my fav plot point either, they could have done it differently, however i'm just glad that the queen actually does remember that it was the king & was just in denial, otherwise it would have been way worse.

for me that makes them actually some of the most human characters in dramas ever, they are so awkward & weird, but that's what makes them so relatable imo

depends on how u see it i guess? for me personally they merged once the cook came back after fainting, since they posses the abilities, memories & feelings of both of them & the inner voice is female now.

this show is just sooo good omg, the scheming is next level rn, bec all the different sides splittend even more lol. time for the first one to go i guess!
the chemistry between the king & the queen remains flawless<3
& i'm glad that even between all the heavy & ploty scenes we still get to keep the humor, like with the chef or the court lady choi!

the kim clan is involved, but the queen dowager used it for her own gain. the maid was just a pawn for the kim clan to show the king how powerless he truly is & to blame them for the queens accident (which did not work, bec the queen saved them).

i know that they are siblings, but i had this really weid feeling about them this episode, like there is more to their story yet, what we have not seen so far!

i wonder what is up with the grand queen dowager & kim jwa geun, there seems to be some history there too...bec that one look i d k
the original queen & the cook seem to merge more & more, since they pretty much admitted to not knowing who they are anymore, which makes me even more sure that they will end up being a whole new person/personality by the end. (with traits of both ofc)

either she got it herself or she had help & lbr she got it how she earned the kings trust, with deceiving others. seems like she has always been jealous of the queen, even back then.

her comedic timing is iconic! she is hilarious.

oh pls, ml's get more than enough praise all the time!

she is amazing, it's the first drama i've seen her in, but i am in love lol, makes me want to watch her other dramas too!!

the story/plot is just a fluffy & sometimes dramatic slice of life romance, but somehow it still feels fresh & oddly endearing? it's so interesting that u can't stop watching it; it's like crack lol, it's addicting!

super confused by this, bec it's pretty obvious to me that the king is the main lead & i don't think they did him dirty at all? he is just a very complex character with a traumatic past, so he has some ~darkness in him, understandably, so for me that makes him all the more interesting!!

i feel like it's both of the souls kinda merging into one? (i can see them being the same soul anyway) bec the queen acts totally different now, like she is more graceful, elegant, soft, but also more intense & determined, which makes me believe these are def features from the original queen, and also the narrator is female now, which has to have a reason. ShS is an amazing actress tbh, i noticed the change in her portrayal the moment she woke up!
i hope we will get more into that in the future tho!

ugh, this drama is so good, not one single boring minute imo, i even enjoy the secondary characters. proud member of the king & mr. queen fanclub <3

yeah, that's what i believe of as rn too!

the acting is superb, the humor chef's kiss, the plot suspenseful & the chemistry between the 2 leads is amazing, i loved every bit of the first 4 eps.
& shin hye sun is so gorgeous i am in awe whenever we get a close up <3

just finished ep 12, i still enjoy this drama, however the first like 4 eps were the best. also i love the gatekeeper, i wish we'd get more of her!
